What a wonderful experience! We are out of state and I couldn’t have asked for a smoother process. Michael our sales guy was one of the nicest, honest, and just plain out good people. I was so worried and stressed and he eased my mind the entire time. I’d drive 7 hours again to do business with this company. We need more people in the world like Michael and Tammy! Proud owner of a 2022 Robalo 222 Ex!
A fantastic experience. Saw the boat online, Matt took me on a virtual tour on FaceTime, Tammy worked the paperwork by phone and email, too easy. They even moved the boat from another location which saved me a few hours driving. When it came to closing, Dubie took over and made me feel confident with my boats features. I highly recommend. Super convenient location too.
We started our search for a new boat and after multiple boat shows we were at our last one for the season and we found Dubie! What a great salesman and Anglers Marine went above and beyond for us. We had a great experience and love our new Starcraft SLS3 tritoon! Thank you Dubie for being an awesome salesman to us and such a friendly guy. That made our decision super easy! Kindness goes a long way! Kevin and Lisa Cook
Found this place while searching for Key West boats (it was time for an upgrade). Husband and I made the drive out to take a look at a 239 FS, and ended up putting a deposit down the same day. Dubie was great in making us feel comfortable with the features and comparing options in our price range. The whole process was as relaxed as it gets. Great customer service and welcoming environment, highly recommend checking them out!
It was an excellent experience since I saw the Jet Ski I liked it I communicated with them by Facebook and email and they treated me super well I recommend this place they will feel like family they treated me very well

Buying a boat from Anglers Marine Inc.- Clayton in Clayton, North Carolina? Use this guide to evaluate any listing before you commit.
Match the boat to your waters
Pontoons and deck boats suit calm lakes. Deep-V hulls handle chop on larger lakes and coastal water. Center consoles are versatile for fishing. Ask Anglers Marine Inc.- Clayton which models suit the waterways near Clayton, North Carolina.
Inspect the hull carefully
Look for stress cracks, blistering, or repairs on fiberglass hulls. Check the transom for soft spots by pressing firmly — a solid transom feels rigid. Osmotic blistering costs thousands to repair.
Check engine hours
Inboard and outboard engines are typically rated to 1,500–3,000 hours. Low-hour engines with service records are worth more. Ask to see oil change and winterization records for any boat at Anglers Marine Inc.- Clayton.
Request a sea trial
Test the boat on the water before buying. Run it at full throttle. Listen for unusual noises. Check that the throttle and steering respond smoothly. Reputable dealers like Anglers Marine Inc.- Clayton will accommodate this request.
Verify title and registration
Ask for the current title and confirm the hull identification number (HIN) matches. Check for any liens with your state boating agency. Anglers Marine Inc.- Clayton should be able to walk you through the paperwork.
