Had to purchase a replacement bimini top for my Robalo, Kathy helped with everything, making it super simple and easy for me. She was very responsive and I really appreciated them going the extra mile installing it on my boat. Great service and super nice folks working here.
After 4 1/2 months of struggles to get a clear title on a boat we had owned for 20 years, we went to Greenville Marine. Kathy and her daughter went to work for us, and they did what no one else had been able to do. Friendly, helpful and most of all efficient. I can not say enough good things about the service.
My husband had an amazing experience at Greenville Marine! From the moment he walked in, the staff was friendly and helpful. Kathy and Joe made the whole boat buying process smooth and easy, ensuring that he felt comfortable throughout. Their customer service is top notch!
Biggest and bestest place you'll find. Better selection than bass pro. More personal experience with employees too
I recently had a bad experience with Greenville Marine. The older lady has always been so kind,I even purchased new boats and she has always been kind to her I have great respect. In October we took a boat to the service department. The boat had been sitting in speaking with service all fuel lines where to be replaced, carbs rebuilt, fuel tank cleaned, service department called and said a pickup tube needed to be added, ok add one.Went to pick it up they ran it on muffs. My son paid $1000.00 like said October, brought it home put it in the shop, winter was extremely cold so I didn't use the boat.June put it in the water didn't run right, fell on its face, then wouldn't idle, barely start.Son took it back thinking it would be corrected. The call came to pick it up.Get there I said about not being fixed right the first time, the mechanic got mouthy about it being my fault for it sitting.I have had boats all my life.I know 8 months didn't cause a problem. The worse attitudes you can imagine. I wish I could show the pictures of the brown gelled gas the new pick up tube was stuck in.But I was the problem, the bad guy for his shady work.

Buying a boat from Greenville Marine & Sport Center in Greenville, North Carolina? Use this guide to evaluate any listing before you commit.
Match the boat to your waters
Pontoons and deck boats suit calm lakes. Deep-V hulls handle chop on larger lakes and coastal water. Center consoles are versatile for fishing. Ask Greenville Marine & Sport Center which models suit the waterways near Greenville, North Carolina.
Inspect the hull carefully
Look for stress cracks, blistering, or repairs on fiberglass hulls. Check the transom for soft spots by pressing firmly — a solid transom feels rigid. Osmotic blistering costs thousands to repair.
Check engine hours
Inboard and outboard engines are typically rated to 1,500–3,000 hours. Low-hour engines with service records are worth more. Ask to see oil change and winterization records for any boat at Greenville Marine & Sport Center.
Request a sea trial
Test the boat on the water before buying. Run it at full throttle. Listen for unusual noises. Check that the throttle and steering respond smoothly. Reputable dealers like Greenville Marine & Sport Center will accommodate this request.
Verify title and registration
Ask for the current title and confirm the hull identification number (HIN) matches. Check for any liens with your state boating agency. Greenville Marine & Sport Center should be able to walk you through the paperwork.
