Staying true to this principle has led to immense growth over the years. After outgrowing our Zeeland store, AWS moved to a larger building in Holland, before settling in Hudsonville in 2002. The following year we expanded to Traverse City, and then added our Fenton location in 2008.

Action Water Sports in TC is the absolute best. We recently purchased a Mastercraft XT23, our second boat purchase from AWS-TC. Dave and Brett are really great to work with. Dave understood what we were looking for and found the perfect boat for our family. Highly recommend Actions sales and service departments!
They have taken good care of us since 2017. Always great service and a hassle-free experience. They fixed a warranty issue that required an extensive amount of time to figure out (three seasons!) I have had boats for 30 years and they are the best.
We bought our MC at the beginning of summer from Action. Dave S was great to work with! He educated us through the process and helped us make the buying experience less intimidating than we expected. He definitely doesn’t give off the creepy used car/boat salesmen vibe.
On a scale of 1-10, Action Water Sports in Traverse City(AWS-TC) is an 11. We purchased a Mastercraft from AWS-TC (Jim and Brett) and the process was straight forward, thoughtful on recommendations, professional and clean. The delivery thereof, the support during, and the help putting the boat away for the season was EXCEPTIONAL. I had a user error issue on day two with the prop, and I called the Calvary. Jim showed up at 7:30PM with a new prop about 90 minutes later, and they are located 45 minutes away. After Jim put the new prop on, he didn’t just leave and hope for the best; A test run on the lake was performed to ensure all was good BEFORE he left. I was feeling pretty good about my Dealer about then. My expectations were exceeded. We were brand new to wake surfing, and that was also supported. AWS-TC had a wake surf coach (Alex) on staff. A couple hours with him and we all had a great foundation to build on once the lesson was over. We had Alex come back a second time to help with our kids progression in the wave. The pro shop (Jordan) and Alex also gave insights as to which board to buy based upon our ability level and my limited knowledge of wakesurfing. Our two kids went from never wakesurfing before to landing 360's within three weeks. That would not have been possible without the support from AWS-TC. A boat is what is purchased, but the real product is smiles with your friends and family. I felt as if my Dealer supplied the first part and ensured the second part. When it came time to wrap it up for the season, David and his team had it all covered. They arrived right on time to pull the boat out. They drove our boat back to their facility to winterize it and have it stored indoors for the Winter. We live out of state, so our time in Northern Michigan is limited. All of the staff at AWS-TC made it possible for our family to not waste time dealing with the boat, but rather enjoying being on the boat. At some level, buying a boat is also buying into a relationship with that dealer for support when it is needed. AWS-TC is professional, prompt, and supportive at any level you request. Our experience was with AWS-Traverse City, but I'm guessing that all locations produce similar stories. AWS is the place to have that relationship with so you can metaphorically go to the party instead of planning it. My highest possible recommendation! I'm happy to be a reference.
