The Tracker Pro Guide V-16 SC and Lund 1650 Rebel XL are 16-foot deep-V starters. The Tracker Targa V-18 WT and Lund 1875 Pro-V are 18-foot deep-Vs for big water.

Package prices include the boat, a motor and a trailer, but not freight or dealer prep. Lund's prices also leave out fees, taxes and registration. Tracker lists a national price with the standard motor shown. Lund lists a "starting at" price for its base boat, motor and trailer package. Ask each dealer for a written out-the-door price before you compare.

These picks come from published data, not test drives. Each boat was compared on what a shopper can check before visiting a dealer: hull type, length, beam, maximum horsepower, person capacity and the builder's own package price. Every figure comes from the builder's website, read on 12 October 2026.
The boats are grouped by hull type, because the hull decides where a boat fishes best. Tracker sorts its aluminum boats into jon, mod-V and deep-V hulls, and the groups below follow that split. Crestliner's "starting at" price is for a "base model package", and its page does not say whether that includes a motor and trailer, so its price is left out of the comparison.
The Tracker Grizzly 1648 SC is the lowest-priced package in this guide at $15,995 with a 20 hp Mercury, a trailer and the boat. Tracker describes it as an all-welded aluminum jon boat with a 7-degree deadrise and a front deck with more space for fishing or hunting.
It is 16 feet 1 inch long and 6 feet wide, rated for up to 50 hp and four people, with an average dry weight of 730 lbs. It suits the buyer who wants one boat for both fishing and hunting trips.
Both of these are mod-V bass boats from Tracker, and the main difference is size. The Bass Tracker Classic XL costs $17,995 with a 40 hp Mercury and a trailer. Tracker says it comes with a Minn Kota Edge trolling motor and a Garmin Striker 4 fishfinder. It is 16 feet 8 inches long and 6 feet 5 inches wide, rated for 50 hp and three people.
The Tracker Pro Team 175 costs $24,995 with a 60 hp Mercury and a trailer. It is 17 feet 7 inches long and 7 feet 5 inches wide, rated for 75 hp and four people. The Classic XL is the lower-priced of the two. The Pro Team 175 suits the buyer who wants a wider boat with room for one more person.
A 16-foot deep-V is the step up for anglers who fish larger lakes where the wind can raise a chop. Tracker says the hull of the Pro Guide V-16 SC is designed to slice through chop and track easily for trolling. It costs $21,995 with a 50 hp Mercury and a trailer. It is 16 feet 6 inches long and 7 feet 4 inches wide, rated for 90 hp and five people.
The Lund 1650 Rebel XL starts at $25,633 for its base boat, motor and trailer package. It is 16 feet 7 inches long with an 85-inch beam, is rated for six people and holds 19 gallons of fuel. Lund sells it in tiller, SS and Sport layouts. The Pro Guide has the lower package price. The Rebel XL suits the buyer who wants a tiller layout or room for six.
These three are the largest boats in this guide: 17- to 19-foot deep-Vs rated for 150 hp or more. Tracker says the Targa is built to take on big water and tough conditions.
- Crestliner 1750 Fish Hawk: 17 feet 7 inches long with a 96-inch beam, rated for 90 to 150 hp and six people, with a 27-gallon fuel tank.
- Tracker Targa V-18 WT: 18 feet 2 inches long and 8 feet 6 inches wide, with a .125-inch aluminum hull, rated for 200 hp and six people. It costs $42,995 with a 150 hp Mercury and a trailer.
- Lund 1875 Pro-V: 18 feet 11 inches long with a 100-inch beam, rated for 200 hp and eight people, with a 50-gallon fuel tank. It starts at $75,899 for the base package.
The Targa has the lower package price of the two with published prices. The Pro-V has the highest person capacity of the three. The Fish Hawk suits the buyer who wants a 17-foot boat in this class.
Three checks narrow the choice before you visit a dealer.
- Read the capacity plate. Federal rules require most monohull boats under 20 feet, other than sailboats, canoes, kayaks and inflatables, to be marked with a maximum persons capacity, a maximum weight capacity and a maximum horsepower, under 33 CFR Part 183. Choose a motor within that rating.
- Check what you can tow. Lund lists a boat, motor and trailer towing weight of 3,259 lbs for the 1875 Pro-V. Tracker lists an average package weight of 3,845 lbs for the Targa V-18 WT. Compare those with your vehicle's towing rating.
- Compare out-the-door prices. Package prices leave out freight and dealer prep, and Lund's also leave out fees and taxes. Ask each dealer for a written price on the same motor and options.
Start with the water you fish most. Choose a jon boat if you also hunt, a mod-V for bass and panfish, a 16-foot deep-V for a drier ride in chop on a smaller budget, and an 18-foot deep-V for big water. Then set a budget that includes freight and prep, and make sure your vehicle can tow the package.

New packages in this guide run from $15,995 for a Tracker Grizzly 1648 SC to $75,899 for a Lund 1875 Pro-V. Those prices include the boat, a motor and a trailer, but not freight or dealer prep. Bigger motors, electronics and option packages raise the price, so compare dealers on the same setup.
The difference is how sharp the hull's V is, which affects how the boat handles rough water. The Bass Tracker Classic XL, a mod-V, has a 13-degree deadrise at the bow and 6 degrees at the transom. Tracker describes its deep-V Pro Guide V-16 SC as built for a smoother, drier ride in rough waters.
Use no more than the maximum horsepower on the boat's capacity plate. Federal rules require that rating on most monohull boats under 20 feet. In this guide the ratings run from 50 hp on the Tracker Grizzly 1648 SC and Bass Tracker Classic XL to 200 hp on the Tracker Targa V-18 WT and Lund 1875 Pro-V.
