Shopping for a vehicle at Auto Dealers Exchange in Indianapolis, Indiana? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Auto Dealers Exchange if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Auto Dealers Exchange if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at Auto Dealers Exchange.
Auto financing is competitive. A little preparation before visiting Auto Dealers Exchange in Indianapolis, Indiana puts you in a stronger position.
Typical Loan Terms
48 to 72 months is most common. Shorter terms cost less in total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down reduces your monthly payment and improves your loan terms.

Dealer’s auction I had a great time driving some cars through the auction and seeing the dealers looking over the vehicles to see if they wanted to purchase them.
used to be a good auction but since Chet and terry are both gone, it's all about money to the two daughters , people who have worked there their whole life like I did are getting cut with no explanation.. they have no idea how to treat their employees or their customers. they have managed to run most of their dealers off. I'm guessing that their days in the car auction business are numbered.. they really did me a favor though cause my nerves are much better since I don't have to go there anymore..
For one..they have simple great coffee. Everyone is pretty down to earth staffwise. The deals go very fast!
These are just pictures of Security Fence around the perimeter of the parking lot. Just along the way doing my Inspection of the power lines.
Good place for auto dealers to get togeter and buy & sell cars. (Nice people to work with too.)
