Honestly my preference is always to deal directly with the car dealer, however Americarna on Tillotson Ave in the Bronx these guys are extremely professional Especially ED he was an amazing sweet, kind respectful and extremely patient. Americarna is the real deal, the cars they advertise are definitely on the lot, beautiful, seemingly well taken care of, awesome vehicles. AB was very helpful, sweet and thoughtful, ready to make a sale, and i hope that he does, the people over him have much more experience though and there is where the issues begin. A test drive will be the equivalent of a 2 block circumference from the lot (not enough of a distance to find out much about a cars performance ) I had a mechanic on Dyre which is less than 5 mins from this place and was told the only way a mechanic could look at the car is if they came in to the lot. Which is fair ?? kind of(but any equipment a mechanic might have to assess a car would not be able to be used) Ali offers that the price on true car is the most accurate and what most people use to verify their actual price. However, the true car price and the actual price are very different. Expect to pay upwards of $6k more on any car on the lot. This price is listed as dealership profit, and how Ali explained it was, this is the price to run the lot and make sure everyone gets paid, so if you think you are going to get your vehicle for the advertised price, it most likely won’t happen, and that’s also without the taxes that are standard on most purchases. A 14k car will end up costing you around 26k, and that is also not including whatever percentage of financing you are approved for. Personally i wish advertised prices would give an effective OTD (out the door) price so We all could not waste each others time, but i’m sure if there are enough eager buyers, purchases will be made. You will most likely spend an hour or two at this lot, and thats with preapproval from your own bank, and not make a purchase. Good experience, but not very fruitful.
This car dealership has the most friendly and cooperative dealers I’ve ever met. Their service is legit and reliable. They have a vast inventory of cars and give customers many options to choose from. They are great negotiators and have no problem adjusting the price to a reasonable amount. 10/10 I would definitely recommend to give them a try if you are in the market for cars!
