Advantage Auto Sales & Credit has been in business since 1992 serving our local area residents for over 28+ years and counting. Our owner Tom Brandis started in automotive bank financing and got to know and love the automotive industry very well on the corporate side. Rather than seeing customers as just a number, Tom had a passion for helping customers in a better way and wanted to help them in providing to them in a way that the traditional banks simply could not do. Thus the inception of Advantage Auto Sales & Credit.
Stopped by Advantage Auto on a whim and expected negative results after encountering so much denial from other dealerships. Tollan handled the transaction expediently and flawlessly! A true pleasure! HIGHLY recommend!
Beware of this car dealership! They are scammers and prey on struggling & desperate families! I brought a car from this dealership a few years back, and realized a minute too late that I was overcharged. For a 2011 jeep patriot going for $1,500 on KBB they sold the car to me for 20k. But that’s fault of my own from not doing my homework ahead of time I was just in a desperate position at the time and that’s who they look for. Anyway the car was a lemon and started to come apart and eventually got stolen so I ended up defaulting in my car payments. After some time went by I contacted Advantage auto for a settlement on the vehicle to get it off my credit. I spoke with Gunner and after he talked to the owner and the bank he told me that if I pay them $2,500 my debt will be settled with them. That sound great but here’s the issue. They don’t want to give me any sort of documentation of the agreement we had over the phone. Instead they want me to pay them the $2500 and trust that they will hold up their end of the deal like they haven’t scammed me already. I called the owner and this guy is ridiculous he started yelling and going on & on about me defaulting in payments then said if I want to get this off my credit then I have to pay him $2500 without any written agreement and just trust him. Stay away from this company they are just money sharks preying on folks *Response to Tom* saying you’ve been in business for 30 years doesn’t answer anything I’ve said. This is a car Dealership that approves folks that haves low credit & no other dealership will work with. The only thing is that you’ll be charged 20x times the car value because of this. So yes I can see how you can stay in business approving folks that haves no where else to go. Keep in mind I’m not the only review stating this. But answer me this. Since you want to tell your side of the story. You say you want to settle my car loan for $2500 but you don’t want to have that in writing because of “Legal issues” Gunner said. I’m curious on what legal issues there would be if you hold up your end of the deal once you receive payment. What it sounds like to me is that you don’t want any paper trail of our agreement so you can receive the $2500 then say we never had a agreement because there isn’t a document stating one. Does that sound like legitimate business to you? It sounds like someone trying there luck on getting over on someone I’m pretty sure anyone that reads this review would agree *response 12/23/25* it haves nothing to do with trust issues that’s just proper business. & I should not have to come in. If you are a straight up guy then send a document stating our agreement of a $2500 settlement to my email and only then you will receive a payment not before I have a letter stating our agreement. You are grown Tom you do not need my permission to say anything. The only response you had was how long you’ve been in business. There was no response to why you refuse to provide a legal document of our verbal agreement of a $2500 settlement on the loan. The only reason that’s logical is that you do not plan on honoring the agreement since you are still refusing to provide anything about the agreement before Receiving payment. P.s it might not be a good idea throwing jabs about anyone’s financials that doesn’t look good on anyone.

Shopping for a vehicle at Advantage Auto Sales & Credit in Quakertown, Pennsylvania? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Advantage Auto Sales & Credit if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Advantage Auto Sales & Credit if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
