EDIT: They apologized and offered to send me a check for the paint protection and to cancel that part of the transaction. I appreciate that. The price of the car was marked up by $1000 after I called and made an appointment to see it. They were “nice enough” to honor the KBB price, but wouldn’t go much further down. Just know to check the carfax and KBB price and know the exact number. We also were told the paint protection and anti theft was required. There were able to take off one, but couldn’t do both. The paperwork on the paint protection states that it is not required to complete the sale. Neither is the anti-theft. Both are pointless markups. I THINK we ended up with a good car, it’s just annoying to have to catch lies to get one.
