Do Not..I repeat..Do Not waste your time at A-Kar Auto Sales on Rt36 in Middletown, NJ. Oct 21 we were sold a car. Told it had a rebuilt title and I asked the "manager" who was doing the deal with us. You're sure its a rebuilt snd not salvage title? No its rebuilt. And he even told the insurance company it was rebuilt. Fast forward to Jan 5th 2026. Still no plates, no registration. 2 expired temp plates. They call and say oh we are having some trouble. The trouble was it was a SALVAGE TITLE car and never was inspected by NJMVC to be issued a REBUILT title. Charlie who is apparently the "manager" said he didnt know there difference between the two. The owner Jesse sat there with his hands crossed in his lap and didnt say a word. They violated the Consumer Fraud Act of NJ. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these scam artists.
Today is a great day!! Had an appointment to look at a 2014 Infiniti QX60 today with David and everything was wonderful.
