***Fraud Alert... Be very careful buying a car from these crooks*** So this is a long story that has really upset me. Given the fact its been 8 years. I bought a white 2010 chevy tahoe from this dealership 1st michoacan auto sales in August 2017.... my credit was not good at the time (550) and I was young (26) and was my 1st car loan ever. They financed me through pronto finance with a 5 year loan that was completed in 2022 everything seemed legit. (By the way dont let pronto finance get 28% interest rate bc that is robbery) Anyway..... The tahoe was very nice at the time. And I fell in love with it. And it lasted me till today and I still have it. Lets fast forward to today. December 2025 (8 years later) I just purchased a new 2024 chevy tahoe from an actual big chevy dealership (country chevrolet) and I tell them if I had trade in value on my old 2010 tahoe. So that I can get some trade value for my old 2010 tahoe and apply it to my new 2024 tahoe. After the "real" chevy dealership looked into my old chevy tahoe, they said that the title was a "branded title" And it would be hard for them to resell it, so they refused to buy it. Or even give me $100 for it. So what the chevy dealership told me was that my old tahoe was either a: 1. salvage or rebuilt title. 2. A damaged vehicle/flood 3. Odometer set back. 1st michoacan auto sales did not disclose of this and told me it was the original title. Knowing it was a branded title. I paid $600 a month to the finance company for 5 years, plus the $5,000 down payment i gave these people. (IN TOTAL I PAID $41,000 FOR A TRUCK THAT DOESNT HAVE AN ORIGINAL TITLE. ) And now that I think about it and do the math. They did not apply the $5,000 into my loan. And kept the down payment money. AND IM 100% SURE IT WAS 1ST MICHOACAN AUTO SALES BC I HAVE A PICTURE OF THE TAHOE IM THERE LOT. If you buy a car from here. Pay attention. 1. Make sure your down payment is put toward the finance. 2. Make sure its an original title. Get the vin number and do a title research. 3. Dont let them push you into an expensive loan from Pronto Finance That is robbing people at 28% interest rate. Thankfully I got my new 2024 Tahoe from a Chevy Dealership. I will be reporting 1st Michocan Auto Sales to the Illinois Attorney General for Fraud and Deception.
