I recently bought a car from this place, and I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. The car runs perfectly — it’s in excellent condition and feels almost brand new. Their customer service was outstanding; they were helpful, professional, and made the whole process very easy. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to buy a reliable car.
This was the best deal in town. It was such a breath of fresh air to be able to do business without the tricks and gimmicks of the dealerships. As far as other reviews go, I'll just say inspect the car visually and shop responsibly. Get the car facts and do your own research. If you want a guarantee, pay extra for the guarantee; if you want a warranty, pay extra for a warranty. They do an awesome job at sourcing good deals, and so they'll give you a fair deal and won't gouge you. They're super easygoing and great to do business with. We were happy with our purchase. While I was there someone else had just gotten another one! Happy customers. Their inventory is always changing. Highly recommended.
Bought 2015 Camry Hybrid from 101 A/S in Oct.'20. Car was great. I needed some extra paperwork because I was shipping the car out of country. Fred (owner) was very cooperative and helped with paperwork each time I had a question or needed info. Thank you Fred. Definitely recommend to do business with 101 Auto Sales.
They're nice when you're buying but that was the extent. I bought a 2018 Flex from Farid. It seemed great. It was clean for the most part and nothing threw a red flag. The engine compartment looked good and he said he just had the oil changed and the engine tuned up. The latter was probably a lie. Within 3 weeks: the battery corroded and leaked fluid and I had to replace it, the blower motor for the A/C in the front went out, and now the check engine light is on. I haven't even received the registration yet and all this happened! Don't buy from these guys ever. Edit: he tried telling us we put in the wrong gas and that's why we got a P0012 camshaft failure code when we checked the code on the engine light. Paid for a total lemon. Edit 2: the alternator went out and he paid for a part but not labor. We accepted. The cold air went out in the ac and we are hoping that it just needs an AC recharge, but with the very short and tainted history that we have already, it's less than likely. Also found out that he knew about a wiring problem in the air conditioner and didn't fix it and sold it to us and didn't tell us about it. When we called him about the AC not working he told us to "jiggle the wire" under the dashboard because there was a short in it.
I am sharing this auto dealer with everyone I know! I got rear ended at a red light this month and it’s been such a bear to find a car in this market. 101 Auto Sales are not only extremely helpful and transparent, they were completely comfortable allowing me to take the car down the street to get a Pre Purchase Inspection at an auto shop, as well as providing all the Carfax. The shop gave me a full run down and said it was an excellent car for the price. I am impressed by the ease of the process and thankful to have peace of mind and confidence in the car buying process. I was so nervous as I have bought a lemon in the past from a different dealer in Sacramento, and this was the complete opposite experience.
