Great buying experience. Best prices on bikes...Stephen was awesome and helped me to get the bike together as I was from out of town and Christmas was immenint. Couldn't be more pleased with the staff; great warranty options.
A big heartfelt thank you to Brandon, Damien, Megan, and the whole crew at Wilmington Powersports. From the moment we walked in to the moment our new boat was delivered, they treated us like family — not just another sale. They guided us through every step, answered every question, never rushed us, and genuinely cared that we were comfortable and confident through the entire process. They went the extra mile and even had recommendations for savings on insurance needs. Delivery day felt just as exciting because of how smooth they made it. The team was extremely knowledgeable and showed us all the how-to’s so we were prepared when entering the water for the first time. We are truly grateful for the experience and the way they went above and beyond for us. Thank you again — highly recommended!
When I walked in, I had no intention of purchasinf anything that day, but Brandon's knowledge on the Polaris Rangers put me on to exactly what I needed since our store atmosphere was great. Everybody was helpful, from them especially the parts department and where I should drop off at the service department. I love my ATV youth machine!!! I'm so glad he recommended it for me and led in the right direction. I HIGHLY recommend his services!!!
Brandon was great to work with. We communicated quickly via text and cell phone. The purchasing and financing process was simple. This is a busy shop, but Brandon treated me like I was his only customer, and I knew they were not making big profits off this deal. I would definitely shop here again.
Very frustrating experience since after the Sales Handoff. - Did not get any paperwork after I signed the finance agreement. Had to chase it down a couple of times. - My "Brand New" Jetski had a mouse nest (with mouse included that ended up in our house for weeks) in the bottom of my jetski. Had to take it back the next day to get it removed and have the Jetski cleaned as it was filthy on the interior spots after inspection. - Had to get multiple parts replaced due to sun damage/Mildew (Although brand new). Stickers also started peeling around the same time too. - Took weeks and a courier dropping off my temporary trailer plate, even though I was told it was attached to the trailer when I was picking up my jetski after hours. - Took them around a month and two complaints to get my Jetski registered on NC Wildlife. When they did they got my name wrong and I had to resolve this myself with NC Wildlife. When they did register it there was issues with the paperwork which delayed me receiving my registration. - From the frustrating start I have had I have consistently asked for some compensation for all issues I had faced over such a short space of time, even if it was in Seadoo accessories. My requests have consistently fell on deaf ears by Service team and Sales Manager. I have asked for updates more times than I can count, they mostly get ignored and have not received any sort of response since the last communication on 9/18. Yet I have reached out two times since requesting an update. The stress and issues I faced in this transaction completely ruined my first watercraft purchase. Communication goes a long way to keep customers happy and willing to return.

Buying a snowmobile from Wilmington Power Sports in Wilmington, North Carolina? Use this checklist to avoid costly surprises.
Inspect the track and slides
Lay the sled on its side and check the track for cracks, missing lugs, or cuts. Pull the track away from the slides and check for wear groove depth — worn slides increase drive noise and reduce efficiency.
Check the hood and tunnel for damage
Cracks in the hood or tunnel can signal a past crash. Look for mismatched or faded plastic, which often means replacement panels were installed after damage.
Inspect the carbides and skis
Carbide runners on the ski underside provide steering. Worn carbides (less than 3/16" remaining) reduce handling on packed snow. Ski replacement is inexpensive, but factor it into your offer.
Check coolant and oil
Pull the coolant reservoir cap and oil tank dipstick. Milky coolant signals water contamination. Low or dirty oil signals deferred maintenance. Ask ${dealerName} for service records.
Ask about storage and season history
A properly stored snowmobile — fuel stabilized, fogged engine, battery maintained — will start and run far better than one that sat neglected. Ask Wilmington Power Sports about the unit's storage and riding history.
Snowmobile financing is seasonal. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal at Wilmington Power Sports in Wilmington, North Carolina before the riding season starts.
Typical Loan Terms
24 to 60 months is typical for snowmobile loans.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down is standard. Off-season purchases sometimes qualify for promotional rates.
Pro Tip
Get pre-approved by your bank before visiting Wilmington Power Sports — it gives you a rate to compare against dealer financing.
Manufacturer finance programs (Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat) often offer zero-interest or low-rate deals in the off-season. Ask Wilmington Power Sports what programs are currently available. Buying in spring or summer often yields better financing deals than buying in fall.
