I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience was so blatantly unprofessional that it needs to be said. I was completely upfront about my negative equity on my Harley, and the salesperson repeatedly assured me—after supposedly checking with management—that the deal could be done with $0 down. The moment they ran my credit, the story flipped. Suddenly they needed $4,000–$5,000 down because they “couldn’t finance the negative equity.” I work in auto sales. I know exactly how deals are structured. What I don’t tolerate is being lied to just to get a credit check. Instead of owning the mistake, the salesperson blamed the manager, and the manager blamed the salesperson. Nobody could give me a straight answer. When I asked to speak directly to a manager, I was told, “they don’t call customers, that’s what we are here for.” That alone tells you everything you need to know about the culture here. When I finally got a manager on the phone, he had no grasp of basic deal submission and tried to feed me misinformation as if I wouldn’t know better. The final response? “Nothing we can do.” No accountability. No integrity. Just wasted time and another credit pull for nothing. Luckily, there ARE good dealers out there. I called Del Amo Motorsports in Chula Vista afterward and spoke with Josh and Jonathan—two guys who actually know how to treat customers. No lies, no fake promises, no runaround. They were transparent from the start and still managed to get me into a brand new 2026 Can-Am Outlander with far less down than the first dealer insisted was impossible. If you’re shopping for a quad, call them first. Save yourself the frustration. The first store is absolutely not worth your time, patience, or money.
