I am warning all parents to avoid this dealer. My daughter’s 2025 Kayo Predator 125 EFI suffered a high-pressure fuel failure (fire hazard). Not only did the manager, Patrick, dismiss this life-threatening risk as 'not unusual,' but the shop failed to provide a legally required itemized invoice for the repair attempt—a violation of PA Automotive Industry Trade Practices Regulations. As a disabled consumer with a 20lb lifting restriction, I am being told I must physically transport this 350lb 'brick' back to a shop that has already proven untrustworthy and non-compliant with state law. My child’s safety is not a game. If you value your family's safety, stay away. I have offered to have a simple swap to a simple carbureted model and was told by Patrick that "at this point you probably shouldnt even put her on an off-road machine". He was very rude and disrespectful towards me because I suggested an upgrade to a machine that didnt have the EFI system and had the engine behind her in order to make her more safe because I have lost complete trust in the brand at this point. His only solutions he offered were for me to skip the scheduling or that they could offer me enough to maybe get me out of the loan. getting me out of the loan puts me at a $1300 loss as i had a $1000 trade in and $300 down on top of that. Not to mention that this is actually the second machine i was after because the first they gave me the print out for so i caould secure a loan through my credit union they sold out from under me 4 days later as i was driving the hour and a half up there causing me to have to pay for that loan to cancel it and get a new loan again for the second machine which is the one im having all the issues with. So i didnt feel that asking for a little compensation for all of my wasted time and trips was to unreasonable. UPDATE (RESPONSE TO OWNER): Off-Road Express is actively misrepresenting our conversations to avoid accountability for a fire hazard. False Claim of "Multiple ATVs": I have NEVER demanded multiple vehicles as a replacement. My formal request is for a single, safe, non-EFI model because the Predator 125 EFI is a recurring fire hazard. The second machine mentioned was discussed strictly as a goodwill gesture/gift for the extreme safety risks and hardships my family has endured—not as a requirement for resolution. Illegal Invoicing: You still haven't addressed why your shop failed to provide a legally required itemized invoice for the first repair attempt (PA Code § 301.5). Safety Negligence: My concern remains that your manager (Patrick) dismissed high-pressure fuel leaks on a child's machine as "not unusual."
