Hands-down, the best vehicle buying experience I’ve ever had in my life and I’m 60 years old. From making the deal with the GM (who was awesome). To having the demo/walk through about the bike with PJ; who was simply amazing!!! All in all, Definitely worth the 8 Hour Dr!!
Based on a recent Can Am purchase, highly recommend this dealership. Hannah was a pleasure to work with and overcame several obstacles to make the deal happen in short order! Alex and Keith worked quickly to take care of needed parts while Wes was a rock getting the unit prepped and ready to head out the door. Brandon handled the paperwork and could not have been any nicer to work with. Great experience from the minute I walked in, truly appreciated.
So I called as soon as Can am released the 2026 Defenders. It was 2 1/2 weeks later Lonestar called and had the unit I wanted. It was such an easy and great purchase. While there Hannah worked her butt off and found my son a 2025 Maverick. She was able to get us outstanding financing and price that we couldn’t say no. So we bought 2 new units. Thank you Hannah. You are a rock star. Lonestar is a great place. Go check them out!!
I bought a 2017 can-am defender not running. I did some self diagnosis on it and found to be what I thought was a starter clutch issue. I took it to them to diagnose the issue and fix it. After 3 days from when they was supposed to contact me I called them just for them to say it had no compression in one cylinder, weak fuel pump and they recommended a new motor $$$$$. I told them to fix the starter clutch. They said it would be $1,550 I told the to go on and do it. After they replace it they said the starter was out and the solenoid was out as well. (It turned over just fine before I took it to them, just the starter clutch would fail.) They said they would fix it for almost 800$ more. (A starter and solenoid cost 90$) I said I would come pick it up. They charged me $1,637.13 I got it home and found that the starter was trying to turn over but somehow was being stop. I took the cover off of the starter clutch that lone start Powersports just replaced to find that the reduction gear was on backwards and was lodged tight behind the new starter clutch that was just replaced. After disassembling it and turning the gear around and re installing it correctly I hit the key and it fired right up. I called them back to see if I could get refunded on the labor part of the starter clutch (521$) and he said I was out of luck since I didn’t want to take my can-am back to a place that can’t do quality work (loan star power-sport) Definitely don’t recommend them.
Lone Star PowerSports is an awesome place. Purchased a Can Am Spyder today from PJ. Wow he was the best. Wish everyone we had to deal with in public could be as great as him. He is a no BS kinda guy which we really liked. Brandon in the financing part was just as great. Thank you both for the wonderful experience today.
