We had a friend with a big trailer haul our trike up to this shop to have work done. After they had the trike for a few weeks he called and said it was ready for pickup. Brought the trike home, went for a ride and the one air bag was still leaking. Called back up and he asked if we could take the trike back up. We explained that we live 2 hours away. He then sent a new part to us to have it repaired, thinking it was a defective part. After paying a $800 bill, now we need to find a local shop that has time and pay yet another bill. A good trike shop would have at least made sure the parts were good and maybe do a test run before calling the customer to drive 2 hours back to pickup the trike. Nice man to talk to, but not sure if he does good quality work. Gave him 2 stars for being nice, but nice doesn't fix the trike.
John is a fine fellow of immense integrity. I received from him a lovely 1997 GL1500SE Goldwing trike and he went over and beyond to ensure it was as perfect as a 1997 Goldwing could be.
Great people (John and Mark), service and repair. I own 2007 Lehman trike I live 2.5 hours away. Trike had pinion seal and stator housing leak. They replaced pinion seal and stator gasket, no more leaks, Great job Mark, recommend to all.
this is long overdue...2018 i was riding heavy thru ohio to hart michigan on my '99 road king. around 3am in a construction zone i lost the spline teeth of the front belt pulley. trucker noticed i was having issues and slowed both lanes of the highway down so i could get between the orange barrels. had a tool pak with me but nothing to pull the primary apart. morning came and the foreman running the road construction moved his crews down and away from where i was broke down at. found leola motortrikes in my phone and showed up with their van and trailer to get me off the highway. understanding my situation they made room for my repair in the shop, took care of it at a very reasonable price, and was putting down miles again later the next day. what a great stretch of highway to break down on. this shop is all about experience with the craft of working with motorcycles. went above and beyond to help me get going again. no excuses. just answers...
