So much to choose from in the showroom! The website was so easy to navigate, we were able to check out what inventory they had. We worked with Tyrel and he was so knowledgeable and very helpful. I called several times before we made the 3 hour trip to buy our new Sea Doo's! We were able to do all the paperwork prior with Amber (she was great too!) and we were in and out that afternoon in enough time to enjoy the new skis on Lake Cumberland. Tyrel even helped us with a few questions after hours!
Best Experience Ever! Harvey and Amber went above and beyond helping us purchase a new boat. They went out of their way to accommodate us on a holiday weekend. Thank you so much we couldn’t be happier with your service and our dream boat!
Bought my Sea Doo Switch Fish from Harvey Maynard, great guy and was awesome at communication. Bought a ton of accessories from Mike Strehl, this guy is amazing, went way over and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and especially made sure the stuff I bought from him for my new toy fit and even helped me figure out the boat cover when I just couldn’t quite do it. The sales manager, saw me down at the boat ramp on the first day I ever took my boat out and helped me get the boat in the water and pulled my truck out then parked it for me. Awesome service. This place may cost a tab bit more but the difference in price sure is worth it with the service you get. Wouldn’t matter how cheap I can go buy something, I will always make sure I buy from them, the customer service was just that good!
Drove 3 hours from Tennessee to buy a boat. No surprises when I arrived. Tyrel my sales rep was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and (unlike some salesmen) was very honest. The technicians in the service bay were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and it surprised me to see them remove their shoes when boarding the boat I was purchasing. Tyrel gave me a very good offer on my trade-in and worked with me on the price of the boat I was buying. The entire experience was 5 star from dealing with Tyrel, the techs and finalizing the paper work. Don't forget to tip the technicians, they are the extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
I’d give zero stars if I could. SUMMARY: sold me a brand new boat with engine light not disclosing that it had issues and said there’s nothing they can do about it “stop harassing them” I bought a brand new boat and drove all the way there from Indiana to buy it. They sold it to me with a check engine light on and incomplete recalls. I’ve taken it to the shop an hour and a half away from me 3 times now spending lots of money in fuel to tow it there, when I was originally told before I bought it any seadoo dealer would work on it. Turns out none of them around me do. I would’ve never bought the boat if I wasn’t rushed out of the shop. if they did their job correctly and turned on the boat to show me before I left, I would have never bought a brand new boat with a check engine light on. First time we put it in the water the engine light was on right when we turned the boat on. Every time I reach out to talk to someone I’m emailed back to stop harassing the staff even though I just got ripped off and I’m calling to speak to a manager to get some help on my wasted time and extra money I’ve spent. I do not recommend this dealer to anyone! I spent $45,000+ on a boat there that was supposedly brand new and now on top of that hundreds more trying to get the engine light off. They won’t even help me out with buying a couple accessories I need when I had to use the money I had for accessories in fuel to take it to the shop. Very unprofessional.😖

Buying a snowmobile from Lake Cumberland Marine & Powersports in Somerset, Kentucky? Use this checklist to avoid costly surprises.
Inspect the track and slides
Lay the sled on its side and check the track for cracks, missing lugs, or cuts. Pull the track away from the slides and check for wear groove depth — worn slides increase drive noise and reduce efficiency.
Check the hood and tunnel for damage
Cracks in the hood or tunnel can signal a past crash. Look for mismatched or faded plastic, which often means replacement panels were installed after damage.
Inspect the carbides and skis
Carbide runners on the ski underside provide steering. Worn carbides (less than 3/16" remaining) reduce handling on packed snow. Ski replacement is inexpensive, but factor it into your offer.
Check coolant and oil
Pull the coolant reservoir cap and oil tank dipstick. Milky coolant signals water contamination. Low or dirty oil signals deferred maintenance. Ask ${dealerName} for service records.
Ask about storage and season history
A properly stored snowmobile — fuel stabilized, fogged engine, battery maintained — will start and run far better than one that sat neglected. Ask Lake Cumberland Marine & Powersports about the unit's storage and riding history.
Snowmobile financing is seasonal. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal at Lake Cumberland Marine & Powersports in Somerset, Kentucky before the riding season starts.
Typical Loan Terms
24 to 60 months is typical for snowmobile loans.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down is standard. Off-season purchases sometimes qualify for promotional rates.
Pro Tip
Get pre-approved by your bank before visiting Lake Cumberland Marine & Powersports — it gives you a rate to compare against dealer financing.
Manufacturer finance programs (Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat) often offer zero-interest or low-rate deals in the off-season. Ask Lake Cumberland Marine & Powersports what programs are currently available. Buying in spring or summer often yields better financing deals than buying in fall.
