I would not go through Dusty if you plan to purchase through here. I called Saturday morning with the intentions to buy a Yamaha T7. He said he did not have one on the floor, when another salesman said there was one there. Dusty said he was going to make a trade with another local dealer to obtain one. I called a half hour before closing to see the status of this. Dusty told me he hadn't heard anything. Come Monday, I called that morning inquiring. He said he realized he got a response Saturday afternoon. But it was up in the air about getting it. Why he didnt say that when I called Saturday before closing, is beyond me. But, said he found one with a dealer who works deals with them often, but the dealer only works through text and email. Weird. First I've heard of a dealer not taking phone calls. But I said we had another options on the table at this point, but would like to go through Jim's. And asked Dusty if we could have a response by end of day before we pursue this other option. Still, never heard from him. So, we went our other route. We never got any updates, and feel he didnt care to work with us. Its all good, though. Plenty of other places willing to work with a consumer. Needless to say, we secured the bike we were looking for at another dealer with ease. My wife actually ended up purchasing another bike while we were there, as well. 😉👍

Jim's has a great variety of motorcycles. If you want it they probably got it. Service department has been useful in getting parts . They have been serving Johnson City since before I was a kid. I got my first XR 80 there over 40 hrs ago. There is a reason they are still around doing busines.

Well I live up in NH and was referred to them that they may have a part that I was looking for, for an old 1997 KTM 620 SX. I called and spoke to a gentleman named Justin in parts. He had a great personality over the phone and was beyond helpful on this crazy busy Black Friday weekend where everyone is so busy. He went over and above to go find these two parts and get them shipped up to me even though I could hear in the background how busy they were. I was blown away that even over the phone he went so far to help me, that I asked to speak to the owner and let him know how lucky he was to have a great employee like that. I ended up speaking to Kirk (the owner) and it was like I had known him for years. He also was absolutely awesome to talk to and joke around with! I wish I lived closer so I could go there and meet Kirk and his employees because of how well I was treated over the phone. Thank you to Jim's Motorcycle Sales for having awesome customer relations and going above and beyond to help someone even over the phone.

My friend was treated terribly at Jim’s Cycle Center. The staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional from the moment he walked in. They brushed off legitimate concerns, acted like he was an inconvenience, and made it clear they didn’t care about earning or keeping his business. Even his good credit score didn’t seem to matter at all, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. This is not how you treat customers. Based on how my friend was treated, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Can’t thank these guys enough for helping us this weekend. We came to Tennessee to race for the qualifier of Loretta Lynn‘s at muddy Creek and like a dummy left our air filter cage at home. We live four hours away and I was almost gonna drive home and go get it but then someone suggested to stop by Jim‘s Motorcycles in Johnson City and they might be willing to take one off a new bike and sell it to us. That’s exactly what they did. Can’t say thank you Austin and thank you Kirk enough times. They saved our weekend. And yes we qualified! That air filter cage was good luck the entire weekend! Jarrett
