I had an issue with something I purchased that was the manufacturers fault and not the stores. I was met with amazing customer service. Will definitely be back.
High recommend not shopping here. Buddies rude as hell. and the Guy will tell you all kinds of stories about accessories that he has in store (helmets and such). You drive there and his selection is shit. They don't have anything that they say they have over the phone. HOT GARBAGE!
Tried calling ahead to try looking at a couple very particular models of Honda bikes. Was told neither was on hand and he was confident my daughter and I would prefer what he did have in stock. People he's never met, he knows we would like it better. Completely disregarded the fact that I'm the customer and wanted to spend my money. Absolutely rude treating me like I had no idea what I wanted. Never going to do business with Honda of Ottawa, and frankly put a sour note on Honda in general in my opinion now.
Rude bald guy thinks he is entitled and knows everything but I guess thats why they're going under and have no customers I will not go there again
I stopped in today with a certified check and cash to purchase the Pear Gray Gold Wing. I had been texting with Chadd and thought we had a deal. Sadly Chadd was completely ignorant of the trade-in value of my bike and rudely told me it wasn't worth $8000 to $9000 dollars. Rather than argue with a fool I left. As I told him I had had it appraised at a different Honda dealer at $9000 and also looked up the trade-in value on several appraisal sites like Kelly Blue Book and JD Powers. He told me they were no good. I went to another dealer in Ohio (John Hinderer Honda Powerstore) an bought the same bike the same day for over $1000 less than I was prepared to pay at Honda of Ottawa. Guess old Chadd did me a favor. Bottom line rude service, poor pricing not very knowledgeable.

Buying a snowmobile from Honda of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ohio? Use this checklist to avoid costly surprises.
Inspect the track and slides
Lay the sled on its side and check the track for cracks, missing lugs, or cuts. Pull the track away from the slides and check for wear groove depth — worn slides increase drive noise and reduce efficiency.
Check the hood and tunnel for damage
Cracks in the hood or tunnel can signal a past crash. Look for mismatched or faded plastic, which often means replacement panels were installed after damage.
Inspect the carbides and skis
Carbide runners on the ski underside provide steering. Worn carbides (less than 3/16" remaining) reduce handling on packed snow. Ski replacement is inexpensive, but factor it into your offer.
Check coolant and oil
Pull the coolant reservoir cap and oil tank dipstick. Milky coolant signals water contamination. Low or dirty oil signals deferred maintenance. Ask ${dealerName} for service records.
Ask about storage and season history
A properly stored snowmobile — fuel stabilized, fogged engine, battery maintained — will start and run far better than one that sat neglected. Ask Honda of Ottawa about the unit's storage and riding history.
Snowmobile financing is seasonal. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal at Honda of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ohio before the riding season starts.
Typical Loan Terms
24 to 60 months is typical for snowmobile loans.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down is standard. Off-season purchases sometimes qualify for promotional rates.
Pro Tip
Get pre-approved by your bank before visiting Honda of Ottawa — it gives you a rate to compare against dealer financing.
Manufacturer finance programs (Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat) often offer zero-interest or low-rate deals in the off-season. Ask Honda of Ottawa what programs are currently available. Buying in spring or summer often yields better financing deals than buying in fall.
