I really wish you had more stars, I would use them. The staff was amazing, and took me on a historical tour of the custom bikes they have built since the early 1970s. The work they do is amazing and the people are terrific.
I would rate this place 0 stars if that was an option. I cant stress this enough; DO NOT take your motorcycle here for any sort of maintenance. I dropped my bike off for a simple tire swap. My bikes engine was KNOCKING and ticking because they went out and topped out the engine during the 3 days it took them to complete a “tire change”. They claimed the bikes engine was making that noise when i brought it in… insane. These people are crooks. The onboard CPU had a new top speed that i myself never set, but was achieved when one of their goons went out and joy road the bike. Im in the process of holding Hollister Power Sports criminally liable for the damages. DO NOT GO HERE. I had to tow my motorcycle up into San Jose to Spirit Motorcycle where they are performing extended warranty work to cover the damages caused by Hollister Power Sports. They discovered sugar and water instead of fuel within the gas tank, on top of damage to the motor from the abuse it went through during the “tire change”. Its been 5 months and the bike is still in pieces. Hollister Power Sports robbed me of one of my true passions in life. DO NOT GO HERE!
Matt provided the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. He was rude and dismissive with an attitude the moment I showed up. Took my bike in for a warranty service with what i believe is a common issue with Goldwings(ticking noise). A day later they called to let me know it's ready for pick up. They said the oil was low even though I just changed it 1k miles prior. When I got there they gave me a bill so I asked for what. Matt immediately got rude and angry. When I tried to explain I just changed the oil and checked it according to the manual. He asked how I check, when I tried explaining, he interrupted me and said I dont owe anything. He then told me not to come back. I have never experience such horrible customer service and I've purchased at least 8 new bikes since 2017. I'll be sure to spread the poor customer service I've experience with all my fellow riders.
Very nice store. Great selection of motorcycles and quads. Patient salespeople that help newcomers learn about sizing vehicles for intended use and experience. I’ve stopped by the store and today I talked to Kenneth about getting back into trail riding and I’m in my 70’s. I started in my 60’s but didn’t keep going. Kenneth was very helpful in advising me on which bike to get. Easy stop if you have been riding at Hollister hills. And worth driving here for the great salespeople. Rob is super helpful. Very friendly place and the sales people are very knowledgeable about the products.
Hollister Powersports made my out of state purchase easy and smooth. I bought it at the end of March but had to keep it under wraps because I was flying in to surprise my Dad for his birthday. The ENTIRE staff is excellent from front to back. Rey and Rob on the floor. John in back at parts helped a lot with some add-ons. Victor and Matt in service as well as their crew helped with the last minute tweaks before the long ride home. They all helped with my Chieftain. I rode it 2,273 miles back to MN last week. They made it possible and it's the best bike I've ever owned.

Buying a snowmobile from Hollister Powersports in Hollister, California? Use this checklist to avoid costly surprises.
Inspect the track and slides
Lay the sled on its side and check the track for cracks, missing lugs, or cuts. Pull the track away from the slides and check for wear groove depth — worn slides increase drive noise and reduce efficiency.
Check the hood and tunnel for damage
Cracks in the hood or tunnel can signal a past crash. Look for mismatched or faded plastic, which often means replacement panels were installed after damage.
Inspect the carbides and skis
Carbide runners on the ski underside provide steering. Worn carbides (less than 3/16" remaining) reduce handling on packed snow. Ski replacement is inexpensive, but factor it into your offer.
Check coolant and oil
Pull the coolant reservoir cap and oil tank dipstick. Milky coolant signals water contamination. Low or dirty oil signals deferred maintenance. Ask ${dealerName} for service records.
Ask about storage and season history
A properly stored snowmobile — fuel stabilized, fogged engine, battery maintained — will start and run far better than one that sat neglected. Ask Hollister Powersports about the unit's storage and riding history.
Snowmobile financing is seasonal. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal at Hollister Powersports in Hollister, California before the riding season starts.
Typical Loan Terms
24 to 60 months is typical for snowmobile loans.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down is standard. Off-season purchases sometimes qualify for promotional rates.
Pro Tip
Get pre-approved by your bank before visiting Hollister Powersports — it gives you a rate to compare against dealer financing.
Manufacturer finance programs (Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat) often offer zero-interest or low-rate deals in the off-season. Ask Hollister Powersports what programs are currently available. Buying in spring or summer often yields better financing deals than buying in fall.
