Five Star Powersports started in 1998 as a Suzuki automobile franchise. By 2004, it had become the number one Suzuki dealership in the country. Along the way, it expanded to a larger location. In April of 2013, when Suzuki ceased its US automotive operations, Five Star Powersports saw the opportunity and acquired the Mitsubishi franchise for Altoona. As Five Star Powersports Mitsubishi, we have continued to grow, to become the largest Mitsubishi dealership in the eastern US and the third largest in the entire country.

Amazing experience. Soon as you walk into the door someone was there to assist you. Super affordable and was willing to work with me . Will now and always by my vehicles here.
Lucas from sales was great, but unfortunately that is where the positive experience ended. We purchased 2 ATVS, 2 rack extenders and 2 sets of grip warmers. We were told that the grip warmers were in, but when we went to pick them up we were told that they were not there and we did not order them. The goof ball in parts was rude saying that it’s not in the system that it was even ordered. Eventually in an attempt to save face they offered to make it right by sending the grips and rack extender for free. That would have been great if they actually did that. Unfortunately over a month later there has been no communication and no parts. There is zero accountability with this dealership.
Dan made this purchase easy and fit the price point I needed, incredible hospitality and expert knowledge! The whole team at five star powersports was nothing but professional! Thanks for my new Sportsman 1000!
Dan from sales was extremely helpful with the new purchase of my Polaris 1000. Fantastic dealership with great customer service all around, thanks again Dan and 5 star team
I have been to this place 3-4 times and have never been approached by a sales person. Went down for the for Black Friday sales yesterday and browsed in the lobby 15 minutes before approaching a salesperson and asking the price on a bike to which they just looked it up and told me the price and immediately went back to looking on their computer. Just do not seem to want to help you find something in my experiences I have been here.

Buying a snowmobile from Five Star Powersports in Duncansville, Pennsylvania? Use this checklist to avoid costly surprises.
Inspect the track and slides
Lay the sled on its side and check the track for cracks, missing lugs, or cuts. Pull the track away from the slides and check for wear groove depth — worn slides increase drive noise and reduce efficiency.
Check the hood and tunnel for damage
Cracks in the hood or tunnel can signal a past crash. Look for mismatched or faded plastic, which often means replacement panels were installed after damage.
Inspect the carbides and skis
Carbide runners on the ski underside provide steering. Worn carbides (less than 3/16" remaining) reduce handling on packed snow. Ski replacement is inexpensive, but factor it into your offer.
Check coolant and oil
Pull the coolant reservoir cap and oil tank dipstick. Milky coolant signals water contamination. Low or dirty oil signals deferred maintenance. Ask ${dealerName} for service records.
Ask about storage and season history
A properly stored snowmobile — fuel stabilized, fogged engine, battery maintained — will start and run far better than one that sat neglected. Ask Five Star Powersports about the unit's storage and riding history.
Snowmobile financing is seasonal. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal at Five Star Powersports in Duncansville, Pennsylvania before the riding season starts.
Typical Loan Terms
24 to 60 months is typical for snowmobile loans.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down is standard. Off-season purchases sometimes qualify for promotional rates.
Pro Tip
Get pre-approved by your bank before visiting Five Star Powersports — it gives you a rate to compare against dealer financing.
Manufacturer finance programs (Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat) often offer zero-interest or low-rate deals in the off-season. Ask Five Star Powersports what programs are currently available. Buying in spring or summer often yields better financing deals than buying in fall.
