Fat Boy's Golf Carts was created by a father-daughter team, Steve Smallwood, and Cindal Bryan, who took a shared passion for carts and turned it into a fun career. In 2004, they started building custom-bodied golf carts, such as the "65 Pony" and the "57 Classic" just for fun. After seeing how much attention their carts were attracting (and getting offers to buy their personal carts), they decided to build a few more to sell.

We searched all around North Georgia to find the Evolution cart equipped the way we wanted and the color we wanted. My wife and I were celebrating our 52 wedding anniversary in Athens with friends. I took a minute to call Fat Boys and Kevin answered. I told him what I was looking for and he had the exact cart we wanted. My wife and I went directly there, Kevin met us, let us test drive the cart then he and his associate spent ample time telling us about operating the cart. They were easy to deal with as they delivered our cart to Peachtree City two days earlier than projected and we saved a little money. ON Feb 14 2025 we purchased a new 2024 Yamaha Umax 2+2 Rally from Fatboys carts. I had called and spoke to Steven and placed a deposit. Steven was patient excellent about answering all our questions prior to purchase. He was quick to respond to our emails. When we arrived at Fatboys carts we were greeted very professionally by Kevin, Dylan and Linc. This team made us feel like valued customers by listening and answering all of our questions before our purchase. Linc was super helpful getting our cart loaded and secured for our trip home. I am VERY particular regarding my golf cart, and I haven't had the best experience in the past with other places. Fat Boy's Golf Carts was AMAZING! Not only was their work phenomenal, but they were honest and kept me in the loop with what they were finding and DID a bang up job on the cart! looks gorgeous, and is a lot faster!
My fiancée & I went to several places to compare prices, services, figure out what we wanted etc. Fat Boy's Golf Cart was the place I was most excited for. And they did not disappoint! They had the largest selection, best pricing, plus some awesome custom carts in the showroom. Steve told us to look around, & let him know if we had questions. I really appreciated that; I can't stand the "hovering salesman" thing- not only does it add pressure, but as someone with social anxiety it often makes me uncomfortable. When we did ask questions, Steve was very laid-back, easy to talk to, and definetly knew his stuff. Everything from the buying experience to the delivery was awesome. We are so so so happy.
