Great Experience! I had two Kubota UTV rims that I had put new tires on but could not get them to seat on the rim. Basically they wouldn’t pump up. If you have ever experienced this, you know how difficult it can be to get the tire to sit on the bead in order for it to hold air. Especially on old rims with new tires that have been smashed in a box for months waiting for someone to purchase them. I called Extreme Powersports in Columbus Ga and spoke with Tanner at the service desk. He was very polite and helpful and told me that if I could bring them by, they would do their best to get them knocked out as quickly as possible. Little did we know these tires and rims were going to be a bear for the guys back in the shop. Every one of the mechanics that helped with this tire issue were very professional and did not give up. Even when Hope was beginning to fade, they kept trying and finally were able to get these tires inflated so that I could get them back on my machine. I cannot tell you how much it means to me to know that there are still young men who are willing to work hard and not give up to get a job done. They will never know how much trouble they saved me by this one job. I was almost 3 hours from home and still had to drive another hour to reinstall the tires on the machine in order to be at my real job almost 2 hours from where the machine was. All I can say is if I’m ever in Columbus and in need of off-road powersports parts or accessories or service, Extreme power sports of Columbus will be my very first choice. On a sidenote, even the guy I kept calling Trent, which was not his name, was kind enough to answer my questions. Sorry about that brother I still cannot remember your name. Lol
Had an awesome experience with Extreme! I worked with Chance during my buying process, and I can’t say enough good things about him. He was very patient with me during my decision making process and made everything go smooth. Trent in the service department was also very helpful with explaining all of the do’s and dont’s with my machine. The team here is unmatched! I will definitely be back in the future.
The people in the finance department are unprofessional and rude. First, I was presented with a warranty by Zach without him giving me the price, which came out to be $1000 when I sat down to sign my paperwork. (Which is not a problem if you feel like you need it). I initially accepted the warranty and went back to cancel it. When I returned to cancel the warranty, the girl told me it would only be a couple of minutes as she was waiting on a couple more papers. Upon trying to cancel it, Zach returned trying to force me to keep the warranty and was being very pushy. He kept saying that it would barely change my payment and I kept telling him that the payment was not a problem. He then proceeded to rudely ask me if the people who told me that the warranty wasn’t necessary was going to help me pay for the four wheeler repairs if something happened to it. I then called my brother in to speak with him and he finally backed off. He then told me that it would be a 30-45 minute wait because there were several other customers ahead of us. As we stood by the office waiting for about 25-30 minutes as the girl doing the paperwork played a game on her computer, no other customer entered the office. I looked forward to purchasing from them for an upgrade in the future, but after this experience that definitely may not happen! If it had not been so close to Christmas and with that being my son’s Christmas present, I would have completely canceled my purchase and took my business elsewhere. They could definitely use people with better professionalism in the finance department.
VERY SHADY DEALERSHIP. Stay far away from Extreme Powersports Columbus, GA. I was really upset. I traveled all the way from New York to pick up a brand new 2024 Kawasaki Z900RS. Cash in hand. The bike was in mint condition when I saw it in person. I rode the bike 2 hours in heavy rain to drop it off at another property in Georgia. Soon as I got on the highway, my right side mirror was swaying in the wind. I was basically riding with one mirror the whole time. That was the first telltale sign of a dropped bike. Once I reached my destination, I dried the bike of all the rain water and noticed scratches all over the right side of the bike. Obviously the dealership dropped my bike and tried to hide the scratches by touching it up with some paint. They didn't do much of a good job trying to hide it. The rain I rode the bike through washed away their "touch ups" and revealed the hidden damages. I contacted the dealership and let them know that I was aware of what was done. Of course they tried to act as if they didn't drop my bike. Typical deceitful dealership behavior. I've uploaded before and after pictures of when I first saw the bike at the dealership and when I reached my destination as proof. I absolutely do not recommend this dealership. I would never do business with them again. If you value your time and money, do not do business with them.
Very disappointed with this business. They said they could make a key for my bike but couldn’t, wasting my time. They also refused to put the bike back together unless I paid for a service they didn’t finish, and I wasn’t even given a spare key. It feels like they only care about selling products, not helping customers. Unprofessional experience — I wouldn’t recommend them.
