Cowtown Powersports was established in 1982, but the story begins ten years earlier. In 1973, Dennis Niles and Kenneth Smith opened their first motorcycle dealership. After steady success, they decided to go BIG and build their own dealership. They broke ground in 1981 and opened their new dealership's doors a year later. The founders wanted the dealership name to possess local significance so they called their new dealership Cowtown Yamaha and Longhorn Honda. Three years later the Honda store separated and the 4808 S.E Loop 820 location officially became known as Cowtown Powersports in 1987. ...

Krickett was amazing at her job making sure I had answers to all my questions. She coordinated everything from my appraisal of my used PWC to the purchase of a new one, including all the financing. While I didn't accept the offer on my used PWC, I never was pressured into anything. She was patient and genuinely interested in getting me what I wanted and needed. This dealership is the first place I bought PWC's, twenty years earlier in 2005. Parts and service personnel were also friendly and helpful.
