I bought the 54” Hustler Raptor SD from here. As with nearly all of these models, my transmission brackets failed while under warranty. Coffee county Honda took my mower in for repair while under warranty and told me they would fix the issue. They had my mower for at least three weeks and kept telling me they were waiting on parts. That was two years ago when the machine was under warranty and now no longer is, and while in their possession they only replaced two of the six faulty brackets. They had my mower so long and we’re waiting on parts because they only ordered two of the six upgraded transmission brackets, so it took longer as I’m sure the manufacturer had to physically make the parts since they sell them in kits of six and not two. The upgraded transmission bracket kit was available and they only put two upgraded brackets on rather than all six. Two years later all brackets have now failed again, including the two upgraded brackets that CCH put on previously. But now the machine isn’t under warranty. CCH was going to give me a kit to fix it myself after I called and no longer had a warranty. But, the owner then changed his mind a day later, on honoring his word and giving me the kit free of charge after texting me and my wife separately stating there was no charge for the kit, because I asked for it to be mailed to me so I wasted no more money on the situation in combination with living an hour from CCH. I also began questioning why CCH didn’t do it right the first time or put the whole upgraded kit on. CCH then told me they changed their mind and it was no longer free of charge and my machine was out of warranty and they were just being nice until I began asking questions and questioning their warranty service and obligations. I believe CCH did this on purpose, knowing I would have to come back later to purchase parts (kit retails around$149) when my warranty expired and the brackets all failed again because it wasn’t fixed right the first time when under warranty. I have texts from the owner and documentation to verify this. Absolutely would not recommend. I would describe the owner as “pompous” and having terrible customer relation skills as he was vulgar, rude and disrespectful when confronted about his non conformance to my issues and warranty. This is all factual and documented, find a friendlier and more dedicated dealer to purchase from. Definitely do not recommend and if you have an item under warranty from CCH, I would find another dealer to work on your machine.

Extremely unreliable, overpriced, and rude service department. I live 10 minutes from this place and happily drive over an hour in any other direction to receive respect, peace of mind, and quality service from any other shop but this one.

I live in Missouri and was looking for a certain model of a mower. Could not get one shipped and decided not to drive to Kansas for it. But the Scott at Coffey called me back with a lead on one in my state. He gave me the name of the company and the phone number. The lead did not pan out but hats off to him for being such a decent person to try and help me out even if he was not getting the sale. That tells you enough to buy from them if you are thinking about it.

The mower was not suitable for our lawn. It would not hold on a slight slope, would not take care of heavy grass and would not mow close to edging. After one day, we tried to return the mower expecting some sort of fee for his trouble and was told he does not accept returns for any reason. Beware that you will only hear obscenities from the owner.
