Exceptional customer service hands down! With gas prices nowadays, I went in looking for an affordable scooter to get me to/from work. Was looking for something for a new rider who’s not quite ready to get the motorcycle endorsement. Cheryl showed me several options and I purchased the Icebear Rocket (50cc) and I love it.
Bought a CFMoto 450SS from this place in March, 2024. I couldn't find the one I wanted in TN so I ended up coming here. They were absolutely fantastic to deal with. I got a fair out-the-door price and when I came to pick it up, the bike was ready to go. I was in and out in about an hour. This was one of the best vehicle purchase experiences I've had. 06/18/24 update: I financed a small balance on the bike through Synchrony Bank. Please do not use this bank. They are all kinds of sleazy. Get financing from your local credit union or bank but do not use Synchrony.
Earlier today, I spoke to Frank (owner?) and we discussed a 1979 KZ400. After all my questions were answered, I told Frank I'd buy the bike. I asked if they took Zelle, PayPal or Venmo... and he said he'd have Shirley (?) call me back with how to pay. She just called, and said someone else came in and paid them and took the bike. I consider that to be really under-handed and more than a little crooked. I'd say this shop could use a lesson in how to honor their own word. Do business with them at your own risk as they don't seem to care about honoring a sale agreement. As for Cheryl's reply, it has some accurate elements of my conversation with Frank, and some statements that appear to try to minimize their own mistake in selling a bike that I had already committed to buying and was expecting a call with information about how to transfer the funds without incurring a 2.5% fee. When Cheryl called, I was expecting to be told to use PayPal or Zelle... and NOT that the bike was gone. As a suggestion to this shop about doing business, if the bike had been a new bike and not hard to find elsewhere, then how you sold the bike isn't an issue. But, how often does a '70's era KZ400 come up for sale. You should have told the other person that it was sold, or at least have called me and given me some notice that I needed to get you cash-equivalent today. The bottom line is... there was no miscommunication, it was your fault for not thinking that I should have been called before you let the other person take the bike. In summary... you didn't THINK. Forrest Gump was NOT WRONG!!!
I made a purchase there. They were Very knowledgeable and helped me tremendously. I recommend looking at all their products. Great people.

Buying a snowmobile from Classic Cycles in Cape Girardeau, Missouri? Use this checklist to avoid costly surprises.
Inspect the track and slides
Lay the sled on its side and check the track for cracks, missing lugs, or cuts. Pull the track away from the slides and check for wear groove depth — worn slides increase drive noise and reduce efficiency.
Check the hood and tunnel for damage
Cracks in the hood or tunnel can signal a past crash. Look for mismatched or faded plastic, which often means replacement panels were installed after damage.
Inspect the carbides and skis
Carbide runners on the ski underside provide steering. Worn carbides (less than 3/16" remaining) reduce handling on packed snow. Ski replacement is inexpensive, but factor it into your offer.
Check coolant and oil
Pull the coolant reservoir cap and oil tank dipstick. Milky coolant signals water contamination. Low or dirty oil signals deferred maintenance. Ask ${dealerName} for service records.
Ask about storage and season history
A properly stored snowmobile — fuel stabilized, fogged engine, battery maintained — will start and run far better than one that sat neglected. Ask Classic Cycles about the unit's storage and riding history.
Snowmobile financing is seasonal. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal at Classic Cycles in Cape Girardeau, Missouri before the riding season starts.
Typical Loan Terms
24 to 60 months is typical for snowmobile loans.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down is standard. Off-season purchases sometimes qualify for promotional rates.
Pro Tip
Get pre-approved by your bank before visiting Classic Cycles — it gives you a rate to compare against dealer financing.
Manufacturer finance programs (Ski-Doo, Polaris, Arctic Cat) often offer zero-interest or low-rate deals in the off-season. Ask Classic Cycles what programs are currently available. Buying in spring or summer often yields better financing deals than buying in fall.
