As soon as we walked up a very friendly associate Manny B greeted us and asked us what we would like to look at. He gave me and my family a ride across the huge lot and gave us a great tour of the camper we purchased. The team at Lakewood Windish offered us great hospitality. There was absolutely no sales pressure. They had a wide range of campers and had exactly what we were looking for. John gave us a very detailed walk through on our purchase. He and Manny were very knowledgeable of the rv’s and components inside. We enjoyed working with Nicholas on the financing. This is our 3rd camper over the years and by far was the best experience we have had. Windish will be our first choice for any of our future RV needs.

My wife and I purchased our 2026 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22 MLE. From Windish RV in Lakewood back in December, and I wanted to take the time to come back and leave this review because the experience truly deserves it. We honestly had zero intention of buying a camper that day. Buying a camper was actually the last thing on our minds. We already knew we wouldn’t be camping until May 2026, and our plan was to take our time, roughly six months, to find the right used camper. We were very clear that we were not in a rush and absolutely were not looking for something brand new. Then we met Dan Conklin: From the very beginning, Dan’s approach was exactly what you hope for but rarely get. Low pressure, knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted, respected our timeline, and never once tried to push us into something that didn’t make sense. There were no games and no sales tactics, just honest conversation and genuine guidance. Dan showed us several campers, walked us through the differences, and helped us understand what would and would not work for how we actually plan to camp. In our minds, we truly thought we wanted a used camper, but we absolutely fell in love with the grand design and really liked Dan’s low pressure approach. Dan took the time to explain why it made sense for us, answered every question thoroughly, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the process. Dan worked with us to put together a deal that felt fair, transparent, and straightforward. We never felt pressured or “sold.” It genuinely felt like his priority was helping us find the right camper, not just closing a deal. Because of that, we walked away feeling great about both the purchase and the experience. We also had the opportunity to meet David, Galbraith the General Manager, and my wife and I specifically wanted him to know just how highly we thought of Dan. David was professional, welcoming, and impressive in the short time we spent with him, and it was clear that the culture at Windish RV starts at the top. Most importantly, I want to give major credit to Nick Sola in the finance department. Anyone who has bought a vehicle or camper knows that the finance office is often the most stressful and intimidating part of the process. That could not have been further from our experience with Nick. I spent a significant amount of time with him, including multiple phone calls going back and forth on the contract, numbers, and financing details. Nick was patient, thorough, and excellent at explaining everything in plain, understandable terms. I never felt rushed, confused, or talked down to. He made sure we understood the numbers, the financing, and the terms, and he made the entire process feel manageable and comfortable. Nick did an outstanding job, and I don’t give an A+ very often. This was truly a team effort, and it shows. Dan is the real deal, Nick is exceptional at what he does, and Windish RV clearly has strong leadership. If you are considering purchasing a camper and want an honest, professional, and low-pressure experience, I highly recommend Windish RV in Lakewood and strongly suggest asking for Dan Conklin.
