Fantastic experience at Uncharted Recreation in Meridian. Tony was a great salesman — knowledgeable and if he didn’t know the answer he found out and no pressure. Parker made financing easy, and Brandon did an excellent walk-through explaining everything clearly. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!
I purchased a new travel trailer at Uncharted Recreation and was assisted by Tarek, salesperson. He was very helpful in providing information about trailer specs, comparisons and pricing options. I truly appreciate his no pressure approach and consistency in getting back to me when questions were asked that required a follow up. He helped make the decision buying the trailer less stressful.
We visited all off the RV dealerships in town, and we then visited Uncharted Recreation in Meridian and were so happy with their service and sales departments. Our salesman was so helpful and friendly, And he even shared some of his favorite fishing spots with us! We would definitely recommend checking them out If you are in the market for a new Or used RV!
My wife and I had been looking for a trailer due to the fact that we were selling our home in Boise, Idaho. We both were looking for a small dealership rather than a large one due to concerns of higher prices and poor service. We met a salesman at your dealership and found one on one service without pressure to buy. The man helped us find just the right trailer for our needs without having to spend a lot of money and we have been living in it for the last six months and have enjoyed it. Your service department has been very helpful as well with any concerns for accessories to the vehicle. It has so far been a great experience and we are glad to have purchased a trailer with unchartered recreation.
The best place to get a travel trailer and recreation setup in Boise period! Definitely say hello to Tarek and the rest of the team and they will get you sorted.

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Uncharted Recreation's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Uncharted Recreation listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Uncharted Recreation which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Uncharted Recreation for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Uncharted Recreation in Meridian, Idaho.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
