Outstanding Service — Worth the Drive from Canada We just picked up our 2024 Grand Design Solitude 380FL from Ultimate Transportation in Fargo, North Dakota, and it was one of the best purchasing experiences we’ve ever had. We made the long drive from Alberta, Canada, passing dozens of RV dealerships along the way — and we’re so glad we did. We brought all our gear in a U-Haul, transferred it to the trailer right at Ultimate’s lot, and left the U-Haul behind. Everything was smooth, stress-free, and well organized. From start to finish, Garret (the owner) personally took care of us — even took time to show us his private test campsites behind the dealership (wish I’d remembered to take pictures). This wasn’t just another sales pitch — it was a personal, thoughtful, and client-first experience. We had dealt with plenty of pushy or impersonal RV dealerships across both the U.S. and Canada before this. Most felt like they were just trying to move inventory. But Ultimate truly cared about getting it right for us. If you’re looking for a Grand Design RV — or even a hot tub — this is the place to go. After pickup, we began our journey: • From Fargo, we headed to Spearfish, South Dakota • Then climbed our way up to Dubois, Wyoming • Now we’re headed into Yellowstone The trailer performed flawlessly from day one: • Fridge was already cold • Batteries installed and charged • Everything was clean, tested, and ready to go • Not a single thing out of place Our F-350 pulled the 380FL up to 6,700 feet of elevation with ease — it tows like a dream. A huge thank you to Garret and the entire team, especially Mike, who made sure the trailer was ready on time and in perfect condition. If you’re shopping for an RV and want people who actually care about your experience — Ultimate Transportation is the destination.
We recently purchased a new Grand Design camper from Ultimate Transportation. Maddie was beyond helpful and amazing to work with!! Our camper has exceeded our expectations and is perfect for our family. Grand Design makes top of the line campers! I highly recommend Ultimate Transportation! I can't say enough good things about them or Maddie!!
I would really love to give this place five stars because the people that I worked with were really fantastic. Very nice, always friendly, and always polite. The reason for the three star rating is because I was promised a tire pressure monitoring system for my rig and it took me literally months to get them to make good on that promise. That included several days of calling them daily to check the most recent status. I bought my rig from them in May and this was not resolved until well into the month of August. So my warning is, don’t leave the lot without everything that’s been promised as part of the deal.
