I am not prone to write many reviews but I must take the time with Marcus and Kingstar. This is my fourth truck camper that we’ve owned. Something seemed to be missing in the other three. They all had their shortcomings! We decided early spring that we wanted a Kingstar and placed our order. They gave us our date of delivery which was spot on. We picked up our camper about a month ago. It was exactly as they said it would be, made to perfection! In my opinion Kingstar is the Lamborghini of all truck camper’s. The quality and the use of space are second to none. We wanted a truly “Off Grid” unit, and that is exactly what we have! The Kingstar group never missed a beat! Since ownership we have had a “get to know” time, as you do with anything new, and every single time I have a a question regardless of the day of the week or time of day Marcus has been there almost immediately! He is unbelievable! If you are looking for quality and not the standard “slap it together “ junk, I couldn’t recommend a product more highly. My only regret is that I didn’t find this company sooner! It would have saved me a lot of headaches and money! I want to thank everyone at Kingstar for your attention to detail and your incredible product! I am adding on to My review, after 9 months of ownership and more than 60 nights on the road. We have totally enjoyed our new camper. We did have our AC lose it’s freon, and the last day of our most recent trip the water pump quit on our way home for some reason. Neither of these issues were the blame of King Star. I called William at King Star and he said he would send the items immediately or I could go to them and they would take care of them. I chose to drive to them. We agreed on a day and just as promised the King Star crew went to work on my camper and fixed everything with incredible efficiency, not to mention a few other minor issues.They gave us a grand tour of their facilities which gave my wife and I an even greater appreciation for the quality and craftsmanship of this company! I own my own business and know that having quality employees is of the utmost importance and King Star understands this completely! I would have a difficult time buying a camper anywhere else after this experience! I have owned many camper’s and no other company has treated us with such care and respect! William, one of the managers is a world class act! Thanks again King Star crew!
⭐ 1/5 While the Camino camper has modern appeal, my experience as a former owner was disappointing. The build quality didn't match the premium price - issues included defective components, electrical problems, and premature wear. Despite stylish design, the poor construction and horrible customer support make it hard to recommend. Consider other established brands for better value and reliability.
Called multiple times and left messages but couldn’t get a return phone call. Hopefully it was because they were giving others 5 star service and not ignoring customers. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to wait all week for them to get back to me so I’ll have to shop elsewhere.
