We are very thankful to be able to help others make so many Camping memories. Ted Hoekstra, the founder of Ted's RV Land, started the dealership in 1994 with a vision of being able to share the Camping Lifestyle that he enjoyed. We have since grown into one of the Largest RV Dealerships in Minnesota. From what was once a small operation we now have a staff of over 40 employees who are committed to helping bring the same passion for the Camping Lifestyle that we started with. Our third generation business is looking forward to many great years to come.

We were treated very well. They walked my husband thru all of the mechanical areas and how to use them. Very thorough. The camper was very clean and ready to use. Very friendly staff. And great service. We love our camper!!
We stopped by to look at etrikes, and Davis was extremely helpful. We purchased the Tric and in 2.5 month put on 950.6 miles, with only 1 chain issue due to the bumpy path we ride. Great help understanding the product and a super deal. I recommend Davis and his crew, and don’t be afraid to ask hard questions. The product and service are top notch, and we can’t wait until next spring and the snow melts. RIDE SAFE.

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Ted's RV Land's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Ted's RV Land listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Ted's RV Land which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Ted's RV Land for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Ted's RV Land in Paynesville, Minnesota.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
