In the spring of 2002, Sunset RV Inc. started out of a barn in rural Hillsboro, Oregon. Four and a half years later, we moved into a commercial building in Forest Grove and started serving the area as a service-based company. Over the years we continued to grow, and in 2015, we made the decision to start selling Gulf Stream Coaches. We have new travel trailers to sell, a full service department, and a parts store.

Super spot for service. Steven is very thorough explaining the work that he recommends and just a thorough going though the work they have done. We went in for an electrical issue and that got done right away, and he noted (rightly so) that the coach was suffering some wear and tear (four years old) and needed sealing. They got it all done and it look really great. I feel more comfortable that water is less likely to seep in now and will continue to have them look at this periodically. It make sense as we drive 8,000+ miles per year and these things are not built for that kind of road work. Grateful to have made the call and trusted our local service.
I recently bought a trailer from Sunset RV. I worked with Steve and he along with the rest of the staff we're amazing to work with. He showed me exactly what I was looking for and patiently explained everything from trade in to trailer details. No sales pressure like the larger RV dealers I had been to. I would highly recommend checking Sunset RV out whether you're buying or need repairs .
I wouldn't give them even a 1 star. I brought my trailer in for an estimate and was told they would get right on it. They NEVER said anything about a daily storage fee nor did I sign any agreement and it took 16 days for the estimate, accruing daily fees all the time. Now they are charging me for parts they never ordered (I checked) and they are, in the words of the owner Steve, "gonna take the trailer for storage fees". I was deceived and lied to from day one. All I did was bring my trailer in for an estimate and now I'm going to have it taken for fees I was never told about until the charges were in thousands of dollars. DO NOT do business with Sunset RV in Forest Grove, OR. They lie, cheat, and now they are going to take my trailer.
This crew is the best! No high pressure sales. Fair deals and all staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Having never owned a trailer they spent literally three hours with us making sure we understood everything when we picked it up and even took us on a test drive once it was hooked up to our rig to ensure we were comfortable. Safety is their number one priority, so they ensured we’d be hitting the road safely. Looking forward to continuing to work with them on maintenance as we put miles on it and make awesome family memories. Thank you Sunset RV!
Minus ZERO Stars! Worst, most untrustworthy business ever! Charged us $165. a day for storage (never notified us that there was a storage fee) They didn't get the estimate done for a month while charging $165 a day. Negotiated for storage payment with insurance co.($4,000+) and then billed us for the balance ($4,000+) Required payment for parts they hadn't ordered yet (we checked with supplier) - They've now refused to allow us to pick up trailer. They are putting a lien on the trailer, and They're continuing to charge us $165. a day storage.
