In 1964 Mr. G.E. "Sam" Snyder got off a NAVY Destroyer and bought two used cars. He sold one, then bought two more. Thus began Davis Corner Motors, back in a time where all the corners on Virginia Beach Blvd had catchy names, Chinese Corner, Thomas Corner, Davis Corner, Mr. Snyder prided himself in buying and selling used vehicles to an up and coming area. Then one day, while at an auction, he purchased a 1973 Winnebago motorhome. While driving back to Virginia Beach he became hooked on the RV lifestyle. And with his usual passion, he wanted to share his joy with his community. Thus began Snyd...

Big thanks to John for everything, it was a roller coaster ride but hopefully worth it. Definitely won our loyalty, maybe we will be able to get us a newer one someday
This is a top notch repair facility. The mechanic has 20 plus years as a Navy mechanic plus experience. After that. We came in with a issue with our Winnebago water heater. The diagnostic problem quickly and we're back on the road. Their parts department as well equipped and experienced. Very friendly service, a real gem!
Bought two campers from Snyder' over the years. Just tried to buy another one and they didn't seem interested. When I called they seem bothered. I still gave them a chance and went to look at a camper. I made the sales guy John an offer and he immediately rejected it, seemed annoyed, and dismissed me. No counter offer, no let's see what we can do...nothing. As a customer who bought two campers in the past from them, I would have thought I would have gotten at least a little bit of effort to work out a deal. Nope, nothing. Moving on, too many other choices out there. Snyder's has changed and not for the better. Saw Jeremy's response....I guess everyone sees my point now. Just bought a brand new Coleman from McGeorge's RV in Ashland. Great selection, professional staff, and well worth the trip.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Love the fact it’s locally owned, not bought out by a greedy corporate know nothing tycoon. The fact that the owners read and honestly reply to these reviews. That their parts manager is so knowledgeable and EXTREMELY helpful, that she went above and beyond to help find a small part for my 2013 Vista and they actually HAD the part in their enormous inventory. ALL you Virginia campers should be running to this place and consider yourselves lucky that Snyder’s is still here to serve, realize that they have a huge interest AND investment in this community and in MHO are wanting to preserve that interest ESPECIALLY evidenced by still requiring masks. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
This is truly a Family owned business! They treat you like Family as well. I called with some questions about repairs and add-ons, unfortunately Snyder's does not provide what I wanted. Fortunately and without hesitation Mr. Paul recommended two locations that could do the work I was looking for. That's what I call true customer service. . I highly recommend Snyder's RV
