We recently purchased a one year old used travel trailer from Northern Michigan RV in Gaylord. After shopping at least 3 other RV dealerships before going to Northern Michigan RV it was so refreshing to deal with staff that was genuine and not trying to make a quick sale. The feel of this RV dealership was small town, family owned and we loved it! Our salesman Dominic and the business manager Katelyn who handled our financing were both so friendly and accommodating to work with. We also met the owner Tony while there and he also was so friendly. Everyone we came in contact with was so friendly and easy to work with. We paid a very good price and they also gave us a great trade-in value on our old camper. I would highly recommend Northern Michigan RV to anyone looking to purchase an RV.
Everything about our experience was fantastic! Brent helped us find exactly what we were looking for and made sure we were certain about our choice. Katelyn was very thorough and detailed getting all our paperwork in order. Dennis made sure we understood how to use and care for every aspect of our new trailer. The service department lacks much to be desired and if you complain about how long they are taken to fix a 10 minute job, according to Northern MI RV 10 minute fix, which in our case took 5 hours and still not fixed! Just purchased our trailer from them in August and they can't order the correct part to fix the lights for the Awning that came with the trailer. The worker threw down the parts and said he wasn't working on them any more. Then proceeded to come back and glare at my husband, we feel like there could be problems with us coming back to the service department. Then they proceeded to have their sales manager call us to chuckle because we want the service done somewhere else. Who will pay for the fix, he said, chuckle, chuckle. Buyers Beware!
