We had a good experience with Meyers and the employees who helped us. Our first experience was onsite where we worked with Mike Parent. He was patient with us and our toddler who after a few walk throughs was getting cranky. Mike seemed honest answering questions we had while understandably still being a salesman. We left Meyers to browse some other dealerships. Meyers was not poachy or pushy like other salesmen have been after just browsing. We received one low-pressure follow up which I was thankful for as opposed to multiple calls, texts, and emails that we have received from other dealerships. We then attended the RV show at West Mountain, again, just to browse. We found a small RV that seemed perfect for beginners like us. My husband and I agreed to chat with a salesperson who ended up being the sales manager Jeff. Jeff was easy to chat with and again, seemed fair. After some negotiating, Jeff was able to find Mike to connect us again and we made a deal. When picking up our camper the folks from service were thorough and friendly. There was a loose screw on the awning that they immediately fixed. I asked about the override switch for the slide out and they wouldn’t rest until we all found it together and they answered all our questions and made sure to hook us up with the equipment we were promised as part of the deal. Our first trip out went really smooth! We felt confident with the instructions given during our walk through and had a wonderful first trip. My only small complaint was that we had purchased some additional warranties and were given no instruction on how to follow up (regular roof maintenance done by the shop). Again, very minor as we can resolve by making a call to follow up or check our paperwork again.

Let me begin by saying, we did not purchase our 2025 Brinkley Z2900 at Meyer's RV of Albany...but, we wish we had. We had a (smallish) issue with a slide (#2) in our 5th wheel. We called Brinkley & they advised us to go to the RV dealer where we purchased to get the slide adjustment done & tear in slide roof fixed. We do NOT want to return to General RV for any reason. Brinkley customer service suggested Meyer's RV of Albany. We called & got an appointment within 2 weeks...even after advising Mark (customer service) that we did not purchase our RV there. We brought our 5th wheel in for repair and went home with slide adjusted, but the roof had a temp repair. We were not pleased with a temporary fix. Unfortunately, it was a lack of communication that was the problem. Meyer's had to forward a work-order to Brinkley to get approval for warranty work. (Mark, customer service, led us to believe the work would be done before we left). Once they received the OK from Brinkley, Meyer's got us back in and repaired the tear on the roof. Brian, the tech guy that worked on our 5th wheel, was awesome. Once he finished the job, he personally brought us into the garage and let my husband check out the repair on the roof. (safety protocol was followed). Brian then showed us the material that was used to fix the roof and thoroughly explained what was done. As far as the lack of communication: Mark (gentleman at the service deck that I spoke with on initial call & all calls, and when we were at the Meyer's store), was new to the job; he said he'd been there about 5 months. We've all been "the new guy" on a job, but, when you are new, you need to know to ask questions before you speak. Before we left Meyer's, we spoke with the manager, Holly. We let her know that we were very pleased with Brian and his work on our Brinkley. Would I recommend Meyer's? Yes! We felt very confident that the work on our Brinkley had been done professionally and to Brinkley standards.

I was driving to lake placid, NY in my fifth wheel only 2 years old. 1 of the fifth wheel tires lost its tread and but not its air. I saw a sign for Myers RV off interstate 87 and pulled in. They were great went in explained what had happened and they were on it ASAP. Even thou they did not have a replacement tire for me, they removed my bad tire and replaced it with my spare. I was back on the road in 45 minutes. To top it all off they did not charge me for the tire work. So I needed to place this review online and I purchased some supplies in the store also very well stocked for all your needs. This is a brand new building and very well staffed. Talk to Paul IIsley he was great along with his staff.

The service department here is very helpful and friendly and willing to do all they can. I am taking my RV to get repairs made this week and will update this link further later. Update 10/25/25 I just got my RV back from Meyers RV after having numerous repairs done. Everything was fixed correctly the first time! I had a squeaky floor that the selling dealer kept passing the buck on. Meyer's here in Clifton Park fixed it beyond my expectations it is so quiet now. (I wasn't sure if I would get Good quick service there since I didn't buy my RV there, but they were great I have no hesitancy of recommending them or going back there again myself for additional repairs. Having been in the service field for over 40 years, with a high end car dealership, I recognize good communication and service. Anita and Brian are helpful, knowledgeable, experienced and communicate well! Anita got my RV in quickly, kept me informed on the progress and had me inspect all the repairs before finishing the paperwork. I spoke with Brian in service. He let me know what was involved, how we planned to fix the problems. He is very knowledgeable and thorough! If I was still in the business, (I'm retired) I would try to hire them both to work for me!

Not happy with my experience with this dealership, bought a "New" RV Trailer sight unseen. Assured by the sales rep (Paul) that everything was in New condition and if not would be upon arrival. Showed up and it was a mess. They charged me over $2,000 for "dealer prep" and didn't even wash the trailer. It was filthy, the New $3,000 Tent and cover was badly stained, black overspray from covering up the rust marks, wrong keys, bent doors, missing parts and now the $1,400 canopy is ripped and zipper is broken. All of this despite frustrating was fine, as Warranty should cover it right? Well its been over 90 days and nothing! The sales rep just keeps saying hes "checking with the service" manager and then goes MIA. I would avoid this dealer if possible. The warranty side is the most important part when you buy new.
