Rarely have I ever had such a pleasant experience with a business. I worked with Heath along the way and ended up closing out the deal with JD. Both stayed late on a Friday as I was trying to drive 6 hours to make it before they closed. Not only did they stay late, but they patiently explained each item on the Stealth Nomad trailer I purchased along with all of the paperwork. I would 100% this business. Thanks!
I came In 30 min before close and forgot my wallet. Luckily I could pay with phone tap and pay. Great guys helped me with everything I needed and gave me some knowledge as I’m a new camper owner. They didn’t have a toilet seal I needed only in a kit, they opened the kit and sold me the seal separately. Will definitely use them for all my camper needs when I can.
Purchased a used Stealth Nomad 22AFK. Phenomenal service by JD and team! Very informative and honest with every aspect of the trailer. Made sure we were 100% ready to go before we left, ensuring we had all necessary tools to camp!
I have contacted them several times about warrant repairs that are needed on my New Travellite Falcone Camper, that I purchased several weeks ago. JD does not call back or set a time for it to get repaired. I have a bad brake or wheel bearing. Wish they would get it fixed. UPDATE, they sent out a repair guy to my house, turns out the wiring for the brakes was not done correctly at the factory. So 3 of the 4 brakes were not working, that is why the 4th one was so hot, doing all the work. It is now fixed. I think a proper pre delivery checkout would have found the problem, before I left with it. The repair guy gets 4 stars. Thanks for getting it fixed.
Had the water pump I needed for my RV when my old one started overheating. Also had a very nice surge suppressor on hand which was needed also #smackshead #doh. Great service

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Legacy Recreational Vehicles's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Legacy Recreational Vehicles listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Legacy Recreational Vehicles which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Legacy Recreational Vehicles for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Legacy Recreational Vehicles in Effingham, Illinois.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
