I had a disappointing experience with Campers Inn RV while inquiring about a 2024 Grand Design 381MS and wanted to share it so other buyers are aware of the pricing practices I encountered. The unit was initially advertised at $89,777, with additional charges of $2,225 for freight and $1,495 for prep. During my discussions with Matt, the salesperson, I asked that the freight fee be waived, and it was. Before I made a decision, the advertised price dropped to $82,977, about a $7,000 reduction. At the same time, the freight charge increased to $4,580. I was told by Matt that the freight was only dropped to $2,225 to “help me out,” without even telling me what the full freight price was but after recalculating, the new total was only $2,842 less than my previous quote. Additionally, even after I clearly stated multiple times that I had my own financing, Matt failed to disclose that the advertised price applied only to in-house financing. From my perspective, it felt like fees were being adjusted to offset the advertised discount rather than passing the full savings on to the buyer. The shifting numbers made it hard to trust the pricing. I also asked Matt to follow up on several items and never received a response. Ultimately, the lack of transparency and follow-through led me to walk away and not purchase from Campers inn rv in Tucson. I recommend carefully reviewing all line items and comparing true out-the-door pricing before committing. As a Veteran and a Nurse I would not recommend doing business with this company

UPDATE: A customer support member has responded to my review asking for me to email them my contact information. I did that at 7:20AM 11/24/25. It is now 11/25/25 at 5:00 PM and I've finally gotten ahold of one person in Tampa of all places to assist me. The only individual that has been slightly helpful and stuck to their word is Mark (or marcus) a Sales Rep in Tampa. He said he'd have someone call me back and he actually stuck to his word. The Tampa GM did call and confirmed that my motor home in Tucson has NOT been sold. "It just says that during the transition." So, it took 6 days to get that simple information out of this company. We then had to physically drive to Tucson (A 3 hour one way drive) to find out that our consigned motorhome had gotten mistaken for a different one and had been placed in the SOLD lot. This happened last week between the dates of 11/17-20th. So once again our motorhome has been 'off the market' physically and virtually. And will probably stay off the market for another week while these companies figure out how to run a business. We signed a 60 day contract 30 days ago and so far our RV has been available for purchase for maybe 7 days? Campers Inn, LazyDays is blaming all of this on you. FYI. Please use our feedback and experience to improve your acquisitions and business practices in the future. --- I’ve been reaching out to this location for two business days via phone and email. No one is answering the phone or returning voicemails. Finally, someone from Tampa responded to my email, saying they apologize for the issues during the business transition, they will look into my concern, and call me right back. They have yet to follow up with me. I did get ahold of two individuals from Tampa via phone. Both blamed the communication issues on the ‘transition’, ‘but someone should be at the Tucson location…’ they take my information down on the phone, say they will research, and call me back. Still nothing….ive consigned my motorhome with the Tucson location, the listing says it SOLD online….but no one has reached out to communicate anything to me? I’d really love to get this cleared up and for someone to please reach out to me. Check your emails and voicemails. If not, I’ll be in Tucson soon to visit you in person. Want to give Dennis, Steve and the rest of the service department at Lazydays RV of Tucson a great big shout out. The refrigerator in our 5th wheel stopped working shortly before a plan trip. They were able to quickly squeeze us in, diagnose the problem, work with our warranty company, get the need parts in to fix the issue. On top of that they went out of their way to accommodate us on picking the trailer up around our super hectic schedule. We got the trailer back in to comfortably load up for our big trip.

We bought a 2024 Grand Design. We took it out on our 1st trip and the fridge wasn't working properly. I took it to the service department made several calls with no response and texted several times with little to know response. They had our unit for 2 months. We received our unit and took it on a trip and our kitchen facuet was missing the pull down nozzle head. My wife called several times and texted several times with no answer. When she finally got a hold of some one they told her they would look into this situation and give her a call back the same day or the next day. To our surprise they never got back with us. The service department has very poor communication.

I went to Lazydays in Tucson to have maintenance done on the heater in my van, and to have a dead light switch replaced. The technician who was working on my van let me know that all he had to do was unplug my heater for 5 minutes and plug it back in and it worked like a charm. After me telling them that I had a dead light switch, they then told me that I had a dead light switch. They charged me $330 to unplug and plug in a heater, and to tell me that I had a dead light switch (they did not even fix the light switch, they charged me $100 to tell me what I told them). I called them and voiced my concerns and asked for the $100 back for the light switch "diagnosis". They were unwilling to discuss the issues with me and told me to have my lawyer contact them and then promptly hung up on me. Is $100 worth the bad press they are going to get from this? Come to LazyDayz in Tucson if you want to get scammed!
