Very pleasant experience purchasing my new motorhome from start to finish. Absolutely beautiful facility! Friendly, helpful staff. My delivery person, Mike was a pleasure to work with and did a great job explaining how my motorhome works. Front desk greeter was funny and made us feel like ‘ol friends. I couldn’t have been happier.

Unfortunately, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Before purchase, we raised concerns about the age of the tires on the motorhome and cited manufacturer guidance related to safety. Those concerns were largely dismissed, and we were also told that our down payment would not be refundable, which created pressure to move forward despite unresolved issues. We were told that the down payment was being applied toward motorhome “prep” and inspection, however on the day of our scheduled walkthrough and pickup, the unit was still being cleaned. During that walkthrough, we continued to find issues that had already been present when we first viewed the motorhome, which strongly suggested that a full inspection and prep had not been completed prior to delivery. At closing, we were overcharged on sales tax, which later required the dealership to issue a refund check. After purchase, although we bought the motorhome on November 13, the title and registration were not submitted to the Arizona MVD until December 30, nearly seven weeks later. During that time, the vehicle did not appear in our MVD account, we had no permanent plate, and communication from the dealership was inconsistent. We had already made our first loan payment before the registration was even submitted and ultimately had to contact the MVD ourselves and obtain a temporary tag to remain legal to drive. While the motorhome itself is acceptable, the sales process, handling of safety concerns, explanation of fees, accuracy of paperwork, and post-sale follow-through were all disappointing. We spent far too much time correcting issues that should have been handled properly by the dealership. I would strongly encourage future buyers to verify tire age and condition, get all refund and prep details in writing, confirm what inspections are actually completed prior to delivery, and closely monitor registration and paperwork after purchase.

My wife and I were in the market for a new RV. We stopped in La Mesa RecVan on a Sunday and were welcomed by Nate, and later Deacon. The showroom is air conditioned which is a huge plus in Mesa AZ in August 😳. This dealership hasTons of inventory, and Deacon was patient, thorough and professional in answering all our questions and explaining the differences between different manufacturers. He also had a thorough command of the various features of each RV. We decided on the 2025 Entegra Vision XL . Test drive with Deacon went very smoothly and he explained additional details about the RV. Every member of the team we interacted with was friendly and professional! From the GM Don to Seamus in finance, to Lori in final docs - all were a pleasure to work with! The dealership’s approach is low key - we never felt pressured to buy. Lastly they have excellent pricing. If you’re looking for a new or used RV I can highly recommend La Mesa RV!! and don’t forget to ask for Deacon!

I am writing this in the off chance that I can assist an unsuspecting buyer. I purchased a 2019 Jayco precept from LaMesa in Port St Lucie FL. The sales manager Jaxson assured me this was a good vehicle. Out the door the RV had numerous mechanical issues. I have requested documents about the pre delivery inspection and the ceramic coating they refuse to provide. The service department intentionally lied about the time frame and had the RV for 2 weeks. Then the water heater went bad within 2 days of finally getting it back. Mr Joseph the regional manager refused to correct the issue and only offered to purchase it back at a considerable financial loss. The extended warranty I paid for was never sent to the company, still waiting for reimbursement, due to the finance department not sending in the correct documents. The wrong interest rate was quoted and I still don't have an updated retail contract after 2 months. Save yourself headaches and anguish. Go elsewhere for your RV.

My husband Hunter took me to look at RVs yesterday. We have been looking at residential real estate for a few months, but he wanted me to keep my options open to the possibility of living the RV lifestyle. When we arrived to La Mesa/RecVan, we were immediately greeted by Ferrel, who was knowledgeable, friendly and easygoing. Asking all of the right questions, he proceeded to bring us to RVs in our preferred price range. It was towards the end of their business day, but they let us roam and ponder, giving us the opportunity to get to familiarize ourselves with our options. During our inspection of a Ventana in our price range, another Rep named Dan came to check in on us. At that point, we had tons of questions and Dan was able to give us insight on how the process works. At closing (6pm) we ran into one of the managers, “Flip,” who was very excited even at that time, and funny. He left us with a good-bye and an invitation to return at our soonest convenience and said they will work with us to make our dream come true if this is what we want.
