We had a wonderful experience at Johnson Family RV. We had a last-minute problem the morning we were planning to leave the Blue Ridge Mountains. The owner of the RV park where we were staying suggested giving these folks a call. They were incredibly responsive and told us to come on over and they would help us. They were ready for us as soon as we got there, pulled our coach into their bay and fixed our issue. We were out the door and on our way in just about an hour. We are very thankful for their helpfulness and expertise, and can highly recommend them.
Will never go there again. Long story short We took our RV there so we could see if our generator could be fixed. We told them what it was doing. They didn't have the right things to investigate the problem and after waiting a week for an appointment and then waiting another week for them to do anything they just told us what we told them and charged us. They didn't have the equipment to check it out in the first place. We could have saved the trip and cash. Very disappointing.
Very helpful getting our sway bars and hitch adjusted. Also explained each step so we understand and know going forward. Worked us in very quickly on our way from NC to OH. Thank you so much Cindy and James!!
This place is an exceptional RV dealer. From sales to service everyone is top notch. Mr Johnson runs a tight ship and Cindy in parts, Doug the technician in service are excellent at their jobs- very helpful. Love our new Keystone Bullet premier 😊. Update: Stopped by today 4/17/2023 for minor repairs all covered by warranty! Still the best dealership - we would definitely buy from them again! 💯💕
Bought Our first Camper. Just about made a huge mistake by getting one at Camping World until We were told about all the fees that added up to over 3,000. We left with exactly what we had searched on marketplace and all the other place’s for but couldn’t find til I talked to Gray and Missy. We wanted something smaller to tote around when hubby goes on his hunting adventures out of town. It was Perfect!

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Johnson Family RV's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Johnson Family RV listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Johnson Family RV which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Johnson Family RV for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Johnson Family RV in Woodlawn, Virginia.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
