My wife and I recently purchased a 2025 Jayco 27A from Giant RV in Colton, and the entire experience was incredibly smooth from start to finish. The team was responsive, professional, and genuinely committed to making sure everything went perfectly. Angel, my salesman, was fantastic—knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. Steven handled our walkthrough and training on the new motorhome, and he truly went above and beyond. Not only did he explain everything clearly, but he also helped us transfer our personal items from our old trailer to the new motorhome, which was a huge help. Bill also played a big part in making the sales process seamless, and CC and Julio in finance were great to work with as well. They made the paperwork quick and stress-free. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Giant RV. The entire team made this a memorable and enjoyable purchase, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new RV.
Thank you to Mr. Danny Violante in the Service Dept for being so accommodating and going the extra mile to make my visit a positive one by explaining what will be serviced on my 5th wheel. Danny was cordial and patient, and his efforts were truly appreciated. Danny is an excellent example of customer service. Thankful for his dedication and commitment to ensuring my customer satisfaction. He went the extra mile to help me when I was trying to hitch my truck to my 5th wheel. Thank you so much, Mr. Violante! As a side note, I do not understand how and why Giant RV Colton has gotten unfavorable reviews?
The service department is a joke. My experience here was great at first when coming to look at fifth wheel rv’s. Sale team and finance were great. We loved the Alliance Paradigm 395ds model and made our purchase. A few small details inside and out of the Rv such as damaged paint on the door and moldings inside the Rv along with a broken screw head on one of the slide outs. We stated we wanted those things fixed prior to us picking the Rv up and was told it would be taken care of. Sure enough that didn’t happen. We then picked up the Rv and noticed they weren’t after being promised they would. Being aesthetic we were told to bring it back for service to get that repaired anytime. When we got to the site of where the Rv would stay we took a look inside and started to clean. Then noticed the bathroom in the back was used and what seemed to be someone’s throw up or #2 was partially left in there. So much for cleaning the Rv before you pickup.. Fast forward to setting the trailer up at our site, we noticed 4 water leaks.. 2 months in. Those were our main concerns along side 10+ other issues. Fast forward to February 1st when we decided to bring it in for the concerns mentioned. We dropped it off and they had it for a month and a half. They claimed to fix all the concerns and were not able to duplicate some and 1 of the leaks even though we have multiple videos of it actively leaking. Upon picking up I was reassured that all the concerns for the exception of those with parts not in stock were fixed. Aside of that the outside paint of the coach on the slide out was damaged while they repaired it, and the inside of the Rv filthy. Now (03/22/25) exactly a week from when I picked it up (03/15/25) we are back to square one trying to get the Rv BACK INTO the service department for the same MAIN Concern of why it was dropped of to begin with. I drove to Giant RV in Colton before they close at 5pm on Saturday as I was informed over the phone not being advise that they do not take service drop off past 1pm without appointments. I pulled into the drive 10 minutes before closing and was not greeted upon walking in by any one of the 3-5 people in there. The woman (Laura) who was the first to respond to my request of dropping off my Rv was with a “Nope, can’t take it in and won’t take it in.” We are closing at 5 and we are ready to leave…. After trying to get her to understand the situation of being it back just 5 days after it was “repair” by them she then kept speaking very rudely with no manners or customer service etiquette, and no drive to help the customer out. She was rather more focused on her clocking out and leaving for the day. I then proceeded to ask if there was anyone else that I could speak to for some help. Then she mentioned somebody’s name and said he would be right out. I could then hear Jerry I believe his name is on the phone with his boss, which is Tom the service manager. The manager‘s response over the phone was absolutely not and that I would have to take the RV back and there’s nothing he could do for me. Given the situation, explain the situation to the service manager. There is no change in action no willingness to help and was just brushed off by the servicing, which had no authority over what their manager said. Overall, this dealership or even chain of RV dealerships do not care about you as a customer after you make their purchase with them. It has been an absolute nightmare, trying to deal with these people and would not recommend any friend or family or anybody that reads this to purchase in RV from Giant Rv specifically Colton for the simple reason that there is no help towards customer or any customer service in general. And just to make things clear this is not reflecting upon the sales team and only the service department.
Sales experience: Outstanding Service experience: Poor Sales: Erik was very helpful and saw 6 or 7 Travel Trailers before settling on one. They didn't have the exact model I wanted, but they worked with me one one they had and it was a stress-free experience, and since I had financing already lined up, it was easy once we agreed on the numbers. Picking up tomorrow, so I'll update with any insight. Service: Update 8/17, ended up not picking up yet, but process up to this point has been very smooth. I had some electrical upgrades (solar, solar charger, batteries, and inverter) I wanted done and Jeff at their service department knew exactly what I was talking about, went over to the trailer to visualize, and was all about it! Cool guy! Left the trailer in the hands of the service department and will update on overall service experience and final pickup. Was quoted a few weeks. September(ish) After I grew concerned about how long it was taking, I came by to check on the progress on a lunch break, Jeff was moved into a different position, but Lilo the technician gave me a walk through of the work he was doing, the wiring and install looked great so far. I was very pleased with what I saw. Should be done soon. Update 10/16, it's been a long time coming and a few delays, but today was pick up day. I called ahead to let them know I was picking it up after they notified me that it was ready Friday. After a considerable amount of time (45 min to 1 hr), they finally found it! (?) I guess calling ahead doesn't help afterall. They brought out my Geo Pro and it looked great, the technician Lilo did a great job installing everything just the way I wanted it to where I can run everything off of my batteries. The only problem; there were a few important things missing and the weight distribution hitch brackets weren't mounted. So I couldn't take it. The propane tank cover was busted in a few places, so I had to request they replace it. I started asking about the leftover parts that I had provided that were nowhere to be found, as well as the grill that comes with the RV. They said that someone cleaned out my trailer for a RV show! (?) They couldn't get to where the missing items were stored, so I'll be back another day to pick up now. Update 10/17, desperate and tired of leaving empty handed, I wanted to be able to take the RV out that I bought months ago, I checked for everything that was previously missing and quickly got out of there. The inside of my brand new RV was dirty. The floors had not been cleaned from the work done. The slide out cover that I had asked them to install was not done because they said it didn't come with fabric...I looked inside as I began to look up the seller to request a return...there was the fabric. Throughout this process with the service department, there has been endless miscommunication, deadlines pushed back. Attention to detail is lacking here. You absolutely have to meticulously double check that what you actually asked is done. I really wanted to leave a great final update here. But I just can't. At least I finally can enjoy my Geo Pro.
Met Cody at Giant RV, he showed us a 2020 keystone bullet ultralight, I told Cody I would not buy that day. I came came back and made an offer. I am refitting now to take out. I am happy to find this at Giant RV. “Thank you Cody “
