I just came to look around to see what all you had at the orange park fl location. Spoke with Brian Roy, he was very very knowledgeable on everything we asked. Showed us exactly what we was looking for in an rv. We was sold on the one we looked at.. We then spoke with our finance guru Mr.Chuck Bell. He was a top notch guy. He also answered everything we asked. And made our first rv purchase a breeze. And the lot porters that we had to deal with Edward Mitchell(EJ) and Dana Parentew they was very respectful to my girlfriend and I and made sure they was careful when they brought out our new Rv.. And they ladies at the front counter was very polite and curtious when we walked in. So im gonna give a BIGG shout out to Brian,Chuck,Ej,Dana and the ladies in the front... I will be back when I buy another and will definitely send freinds and family there when they are ready for a rv. General RV ya'll rock
We recently purchased our RV at the Jacksonville RV Show and had it delivered to the Orange Park store, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! Jason Woodfood, our delivery specialist, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly detailed and patient, and he made sure every question we had was fully answered. Alex W. started our financing process at the show and even took the time to say hello while we were there (we know you were trying to stay warm — haha!). Chuck made the financing process smooth and completely stress-free. We originally worked with Jared at the show (he was from Chicago), and he was fantastic as well. Kaelyn G. was wonderful in assisting us through every small detail during delivery. Shawn and Kenny, our techs who installed the slide toppers, hitch, and a few other items, were outstanding — professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The only negative was a brief moment while we were waiting for our unit to be pulled out of the delivery bay. An employee (I believe her name was Trina) came outside using inappropriate language. It felt unprofessional; however, it was a small issue compared to the otherwise excellent experience. Overall, everyone we worked with was helpful, professional, and great to deal with. We are extremely happy with our purchase and the service we received. Thank you for making this such a positive experience!
Cheynan was fantastic from start to finish. Helped me prior to the show, Met at the show and got me into the 2026 grand design 265BHT. Mike was awesome to help get the deal done and Ray from grand design was right there to help out when we needed it.
Best Service and People! Inverter malfunction! Under full hookup our Xantrex refused to charge the batteries quietly drawing their power and sending our twelve volt refrigerator to a painful doom. In 24 hours even with all lights out we would still see our food go bad while waking up every hour to shut off the fridge alarm. We called General RV Center in Wayland,MI where we bought our rig two months earlier and they passed the torch to General RV Center in Jacksonville, FL who saved our souls and food. Next morning a mobile technician on a white Sprinter came to investigate. It was difficult because Xantrex inverter was faking it, pretending to work while it did only half of the job. But very soon we knew Xantrex was busted. Our technician could not possibly have another inverter on hand and did the best he could - suggested to buy an external charger, which worked as a temporary measure. At that point we settled with our fate, but not team Jacksonville. Unbeknownst to us and after working hours they were looking for a solution how to save our vacations and the rig. They’ve found a new inverter! Next morning we came to General RV Center in Jacksonville and put a new Xantrex in two hours. Cooking lunch and charging batteries from generator was a dream come true again! People in General RV Center were very friendly and helpful to us. While waiting for service to complete we bought a few very useful things for the RV. Everyone loved our dog and we felt very welcomed. General RV Center in Jacksonville is a large facility with both Sales and Service areas. You get a very good feeling coming to that place. Today one no longer hears the phrase “Customer is always right” but in General RV Center you can feel it when they say “You are a part of our family”. And it turns out to be true. As it was true in Hershey PA, Wayland MI and now in Jacksonville FL. General RV Center and their customers are a big family and they take care of their own. Thank you team Jacksonville! We made it back to Houston and now don’t need to fix anything :-).
