My wife and I have been searching for a small travel trailer for a few months and ran across an ad for one from Fort Verde RV sales. The next morning I called and talked to Curtis and he told me a little more about this RV and that it was in good shape. The price was very good so we decide to make the 3-hour drive to look at this RV. We told them we were coming and he held the vehicle for us and everything he said was absolutely the truth. He was very honest and up front and even reimbursed me for a couple of small items that were wrong with the RV. I would certainly do business again with them and recommend this RV dealership highly.

Curtis made the process of buying our camper trailer so easy. It was our first time buying a trailer and I am so glad I chose Fort Verde RV! He was incredibly helpful and communicative along the way. I would definitely go back and have recommended him to friends and family.
We have dealt with Curtis several times. The first time things went pretty well. The second purchase went okay. The third time we took a toy hauler back to his business to be sold on consignment. We started by paying him $250 to transport our camper about 37 miles..rather expensive but we didn't have the time. What we did not know was that when he got it to his lot he did not turn off the automatic leveling system. He stated later that he had to go out several times to turn it off!?Anyone(I guess not Curtis) would have called the owner to ask what was going on. We sold the camper ourselves, and paid $300 to Curtis to get out of the consignment contract. We went to his business to get our RV. It took at least 30 minutes to get the levelers to respond. When they did they were jerky. When we arrived at the buyers place the levelers would not respond at all. It was determined by me and confirmed by an RV mechanic that the motor was burned up and the batteries ruined, to the tune of $3100. Curtis's response was he was "sorry this happened", assuming no responsibility for his carelessness or apathy for someone else's very expensive property. As far as Curtis being knowledgeable regarding RV's he is probably in the beginner phase of RV info. As far as being reliable and careful with his customers property he is a failure.
Bought a trailer a couple of years ago from Curtis and had him sell an RV for me. Both transactions went smoothly and fairly. I highly recommend him for either buying or selling.
