We had such a great experience! This was actually my first time ever renting a camper, and I couldn’t have asked for a better intro to it. The camper was super clean, smelled fresh, and everything worked exactly like it should. All the amenities were really user friendly and easy to figure out, which made the whole trip feel stress free. Pick up and drop off were both smooth and easy. We even got to hit the road a little earlier than planned, which was a nice bonus. And when we ended up being a bit late for drop off, everyone was really understanding and easygoing about it. Honestly, 10 out of 10 experience. We’ll definitely be renting from El Monte RV again :)

This was our first time renting an RV, and my wife and I rented it for 4 nights. We had a really good experience with El Monte RV Las Vegas. The RV was clean and in good condition. Nekeda helped us at check-in and explained everything clearly, which made things easy for us as first-time renters. Yuri handled the return and made the checkout quick and smooth. Tammi was also very helpful and mentioned we should ask for a coupon after completing the return. We received a $50 coupon for our next rental, which was a nice touch. Based on our experience and the good Google reviews we had read, we would definitely rent from El Monte again and recommend them, especially for first-time RV renters.

We rented our 25’ Class C RV for 2 weeks to visit and camp in the National and State Parks of Utah. It was our first time camping and traveling via RV. The RV was clean and the additional purchase of the Personal kit, (which included bedding and towels) and a Kitchen kit (pots/pans, eating supplies) was all we needed for our journey. I would have liked an additional pillow (only one in the kit), and maybe a heavier blanket. We traveled out of state to pick up our RV, so we weren’t able to pack personal items other than clothing. I would recommend watching the provided videos to better understand the functions of the RV, however we were given thorough instructions upon retrieval of our RV. I felt that the staff at El Monte Las Vegas did a great job explaining the details of the RV, and answering our questions. Everything in the kitchen area, bathroom, and tank management worked for us. The refrigerator/freezer was bigger than the dorm-size we were expecting. We look forward to renting from El Monte when we are ready for our next RV adventure.

We had booked a 30ft RV with El Monte to explore the southwest for 3 weeks. People at the station were always polite, punctual and helpful, but if we haven't had a checklist on what should go in the car, we would have had 3 weeks without cleaning utilities and bucket/bin or just 1 bed sheet per person. The RV itself was surprisingly quiet. You could easily talk with each other. The fridge had an amazing size and the double bed was 120x200cm. Also, if you receive the 30ft RV that has a plate sign starting with "BIM0" check the following: - Window handles do not come off for all 4 front windows - Bed above the driver: the hooks that keep it up are actually fastened with 4 instead of 1 screw - check the outlets if they are working (for us 50% were not) - check if the battery holds longer than 10min of AC - black water status actually shows empty, when empty. - check if the gate valve is fixed, otherwise you really need long rubber gloves - TV at the dinner table works. We have extended this repair list to El Monte on our day of departure. The associate was really nice and assured us that this should have been part of the check before renting it out. We received a 200$ "we are sorry" payment. Good look to all of you and may El Monte keep their word as on the plate sign: Rent from the best!

El Monte RV is a great option for having an RV adventure in the US. Now, not every location of El Monte RV is the same experience, by any means. I honestly feel like I was completely chipped out of a proper introduction to the RV but received a stellar drop off experience. I do feel like the check-in was more important; for me. Therefore, I wish I had gone in better prepared. The text response customer service while your out on your trip is ok. We weren’t explained nor given tips on how to manage the fridge with the battery and when I asked via text, they never responded. I requested a 25ft RV, and received a 29ft; which don’t get me wrong, I get it’s an upgrade but when it’s your first time driving an RV, and your campgrounds have specific size limits, going 4ft more can be trouble. The guy who checked us in never gave us the proper measurements so I had to ask via their text system and they did respond to that one the next day (it was Sunday). The RV can have a lot of missing things. There was nothing to clean the RV in the car, and I mean nothing. They gave us a roll of TP and a toilet pod. The personal kit was good, and so was the kitchen kit. A bit surprised to see there were no measuring cups/spoons, and no pans; only pots. You can rent a toaster and coffee machine, as well as chairs. Great additions! The GPS sucks. Truly. Don’t get it. It got us lost 3 times, and we resorted to using our phones; even when we confirmed the map. Before the trip, I had contacted them asking what the RV included to know what I would need to bring. Most of the things I prepared to bring were there and things I was told would be there, were not. For example, some RVs have bluetooth and some don’t; I was told none had it. There were no cleaning tools, at all when I was told there would be. Etc. Communication via email and on the phone is the not their strongest skill. In order to reserve a time for pick up, like they ask us to do, I had to call 5 different numbers and send an email to get a call the next day/day I picked up the car with a time. Our pick up location was in Salt Lake City. If that’s where you’re thinking of picking up, beware. It’s an empty huge garage, with one guys running around like a crazy person. He forgot to tell us about so many things. Things about the vehicle per se (lights, dashboard, oven run, the wheel levels and the propane. We were told we could refill in any gas station that said propane, and that was not correct. Can only refill in RV parks. The whole pickup experience was not great, especially when I was worried about the size the moment I saw the change. I was not happy. That said, everything went great with the size and after a few hours of driving it, I felt comfortable. Las Vegas location was great! Smooth, easy instructions and 1:1 checkout to go through everything together. Super great crew. In regards to the state of the vehicles, they were ok. Everything worked well with the exception of the dashboard having the tire pressure alert on the entire trip (was warned about it by the employee at pickup) but I was still slightly not comfortable with it, especially when we were at many points remote/out of service. The door opened twice while driving, even with the lock on. Also, as a heads up - if you’re using the shower, the gray tank will fill up fast. Make sure you have a dump accesible or it will overflow. The rest was great. I would rent again from El Monte but I would make sure I get what’s on the contract and I would not be ok with being rushed out of the check in process. That just didn’t feel nor was it ok. That said, I would be up to giving them a second chance if the opportunity arises because of how easy it all is at the end.
