I just wrote a bad review about another RV dealer and I realized I never wrote a good review about this one. This was a strange but good experience. It was days before Christmas and I was looking at the Rockwood 2517. Every other dealers were throwing great prices on 2024 inventory and this one just got in a 2025. It was too expensive, yet I inquired, never expecting to get a deal on new 2025 inventory. The Manager called me and said “I am going top make this easy for you!”. Then gave me a price that blew everyone else away. There few reviews on this place and they required me to wire the funds in advance? I was hesitant, the address only showed a Ford dealership, not an RV dealer? In a leap of faith I wired the funds. They were going to deliver the RV even though I was 4-1/2 hours away, but the weather and schedule did not cooperate and I was soon leaving town and didn’t want my money or RV sitting there. So I trekked up north. This was a Ford dealership with a small warehouse down the street? We drove down the street to a tiny warehouse house, no RV’’s lining the street, but substantial inventory fenced in the back. My 2025 was sitting in the warehouse shiny, warm and ready to go. Long story short, the deal seemed too good to be true, it was not. I hitched up and left, the only complaint is the unexpected snow storm on the way home. Then 10 days later, a unexpected check arrived for the delivery that never happened. They may not advertise the best price, but they will certainly work to earn your business. I am living proof!
Very poor customer service, if you call they will claim to call you back and never do. You call them again, they claim to give you a call back again. I will not do business with them. The fact a transaction hasn’t even started yet and they’re treating customers like this already tells me everything I need to know!
Call Nick at Eagle River Ford for all your vehicle needs, we were looking at a Rockwood rv here at the local dealer in Yankton SD and while my wife was walking thru the lot I searched rvs online. Found the exact same model at Eagle River for 11.000.00 dollars lower price. I called and spoke with Nick and sent pics of my trade in, they gave me the payoff I needed to trade and I arranged financing. Told Nick I was coming in the next day. Hooked up and drove to Eagle River and after gas and travel expenses saved over 10.000 dollars. Nick and the manager there were amazing even called to make sure we made it home and answered questions about setup and 1st use of RV. We have purchased 5 new rvs in the last 8 yrs and this was by far the best dealer experience we've had by a long way. Call Nick and make the drive to Eagle River you won't regret it! Bring mosquito repellent and pretend to give Nick a hard time, he likes it.
