My sister came at 4:53 p.m. and they're closing time was 5:00. We need an emergency entryway lock because there were four dogs four cats and two humans sleeping in that tiny little RV with no lock on the door. By 4:58 p.m. they had the situation solved. They went out of their way to restart the store for her. We love feeling very happy for their service and for their knowledge of ability. Good job guys y'all did an amazing job.
Les is a very good RV repairman and, perhaps, the most knowledgeable one about everything RV I have ever dealt with. His hourly rate, 'tho not cheap, is $31 less per hour than the other popular repairman at Medina Lake. I had to take a quick trip to Colorado so left my keys and RV in Texas for Les-A1 and he repaired while I was gone. I trust him enough to give him the keys while I was out of town.
I had my wheel bearing done here and the job was not done correctly on one wheel. The plug that covers the king nut came out and knocked the dust cap out of my hub cap. The wheel was loose and wobbly which caused me to be stopped on a busy road. Very much could have been a bad incident. Luckily I noticed the wobble and was able to pull over in time.
This is a mixed story. Our initial service was awful. Wrong parts, missed items slated for repair, and a poor job of doing what they actually did. When I called them on these issues, they went out of their way, I mean really above and beyond, to make sure we were satisfied. They pulled a mechanic from another job to work on our rig, and he did a really great job. Honestly I believe the initial interaction simply lacked sufficient communications between us. If you go there, be very specific about your wants and needs, and don't assume anything. While the missteps required us to take the coach to them a second time, I felt they were very accommodating and in the end did really great work. In my book, supreme customer service is almost better than quality of work. To know that no matter what, any issues will be taken care of with no arguments, is my top satisfaction metric. I would absolutely go there again.
My mpg had gone down significantly and I suspected some problem with trailer axle. I stopped in for overdue maintenance, grease and repacking bearings, checking magnets and brakes, and things are back to normal. I didn't get to talk to the technician, so I'm not sure what the problem was exactly, but they were on my way from one campsite to the next and got me an appointment the same day. There is a small campground there if you had some larger problem. They seem to do a lot of work, it's a large warehouse, I was surprised for it being in quite a small city.
