When we purchased our RV everything was great. They were super quick efficient, and friendly. However, when it comes to after the purchase, it's all crickets and tumbleweeds. We told the salesperson when we purchased the RV that we were full time RV'rs. She assured us they have "the best" warranty and everything would be taken care of if we ever needed anything.Boy was she wrong. Bottom line is no. They will not. We had an awning they owed us in the beginning of the original sale of our BRAND NEW Grand Design. Never got it, even after calling multiple times and not getting any call backs or answers over a two year period. As far as the list of items we've had problems with over the past few years- nobody returns our calls, and when I went in the service department once we were back in town (full time RV'rs) had me send a list with photos to an email then said they would see what they could "figure out" for us. Never heard anything back for another month. Reached out via email and service guy states "Well you guys live in it full time and we don't have anyone to come look at it, so we recommend you contact Grand Design directly." Uhhhh, yeah! We stated that when we purchased it! Not helpful whatsoever. This dealership is definitely a stealership. All they want is your money. That is all they care about.
We had the best time shopping and buying our new 5th wheel, Grand Design at Caveman RV! The super professional team - from sales, finance and service, Alan, Brent, Chris, Glenn, Sarah & Tim gave us the best buying experience. We made the trek from Seattle because of their incredible customer service. I/we highly recommend Caveman RV!
Where do I begin! If I could give Caveman RV a Zero, Negative Zero, and/or a no star I would! I would not recommend anyone buying from this dealership! Pass them up and go somewhere else. Take your money and run as fast as you can away from Grants Pass! A deal that started several weeks ago working with Sarah C. Has been a buyers nightmare. I was in the market to purchase a brand new 2022 Lance 1172. I was approved for the loan and Sarah had provided some very high numbers that I did not feel comfortable paying. I decided to not pursue the deal. Sarah was really hoping that I would accept these high numbers, which I kindly declined and decided not to proceed. Two days later I get a call from Alan the sales manager and he gives me different numbers that were in line from what I had received at Curtis Trailers. I agreed to those numbers with additional accessories and paid a $3k deposit. These accessories included a super hitch, which was suppose to be ordered for my pick up today 13MAY2022. After waking up at 0200 and driving the 4.5hrs and booking a hotel plus gas I arrived at Caveman RV this AM. After meeting Alan and Sarah in person my brother and I waited 1.5hrs only for Alan to disclose that there was a misunderstanding and the super hitch for my truck was never ordered. Essentially Sarah was under the impression I had a super hitch already on my truck and although I had send her pictures of my hitch of my trucks current stock hitch weeks prior. So not only did Caveman RV not order the right equipment that should of been part of the deal supposedly they stated this was miscommunication. This is straight out BS and this is exactly how they treat thier customers. They wait until you drive 4.5hrs, spend money on gas, take personal time off and not even offer resolution. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. Caveman RV is not worth your time or money. See pictured of the hitch on my truck. It's not a super hitch as you can see! This was a bad screw up on thier part! Please take your business elsewhere. Save yourselves the time and headache! Don't count on Caveman RV to fix anything because instead of being proactive and offering if they can call around other dealers in hopes to fix the issue all they did was apologize. Thier apology doesng cover the expense and time spent driving there and the memories you hoped you would make with you kid because of something caveman could have verified and planned with a simple check list! Ridiculous!!!
Tim (I think that’s his name) helped me diagnose a problem w my little Dometic 12v fridge after no one else - not even Dometic service dealers wouldn’t look at it. It’s now working fine and humming quietly again. Thank you so much Tim for your time and generosity to take a look at it.
We purchased our Grand Design Reflection in July of 2023. Smooth transaction etc and everything was great. Since that time we kind of ran into a situation of which I will not be sharing the specific details of but I can say that after contacting Alan and us having a conversation he committed to handling things and he did!!!! As we all know, mistakes can and will happen in business and in life. It is what someone does to correct the problem that truly matters at that point!!!! Alan and Brent did what they said they would do handled things for us. So once again thanks to the entire crew at Caveman RV!!!!!
