The reason that we chose to purchase our brand new RV from here was because of the prompt response from the sales team (we live 1.5 hrs away). They were amazing. However- now we are dealing with the service department and it is a nightmare. Before our walkthrough, they told us about a scratch on our exterior bathroom door, and that they would be warrantying it out. Great. It didn’t come in until after our camper was already in storage, so I told them we would come back in the spring to get it switched out, which we did 2 weeks ago. Our appointment was set for 10am and at 11am they still hadn’t touched our rv. So we left to get lunch and told them to call us when it was done. They didn’t, so at 2:30pm I asked what was going on and they went to look and said oh yeah it’s done… great. Our fault for not looking at it while we were there but the door looks terrible. The decal at the bottom has a ton of bubbles (they told us this while we were there and they sent us a new decal so that we could replace it ourselves…), the bottom corner looks as if the paint got hot and bubbled (they said it’s foam and will come off with alcohol- if that’s the case why didn’t you do that?), there is a scratched area on the screen door that looks like someone tried to buff it with sandpaper, and someone tried to cover up the discoloration on the door seal with sharpie marker. Also instead of just replacing the door itself, the whole doorframe was replaced and the caulking around the door now looks terrible. I called to let them know we were disappointed and was told to send in photos via email, which I did and no one got back to me. I called a week later and basically was told that it wasn’t their fault and that it was up to us if we wanted to bring it back in… we are still debating taking it back there or just doing the fixes ourselves, but we really don’t want to deal with them anymore or drive 3hrs for them to take care of something that was supposed to be done weeks ago.
I purchased a used 26ft bunkhouse TT last spring from Boyer RV. Every member of the sales team and staff were excellent. The shop did a great job of setting up my hitch and explaining trailer when I picked it up. I couldn't be more happy with the whole process. I would definitely recommend and would buy from again.
Have read the reviews about Boyer sales being good to deal with and service being the problem. But it seems that instead of the service department taking queues from sales, sales has learned from the service department. Despite the service reviews we decided to visit Boyer to purchase a 5th wheel RV. Met with a sales rep a couple of times, viewed several units, decided on a floor plan and was given a sales quote. I emailed the sales rep asking for some more information on 2 units but never got a reply. Called Boyer's main number on a Friday morning during normal business hours and oddly after 3 or 4 rings the call went to voicemail which I left asking for a call back. Monday afternoon I called the main number again and again the call went to voicemail and again I left one. Next, called the sales rep's direct number and again it said the person at the same extension number as the main number's voicemail was unavailable....voicemail. So here it is Wednesday morning with no reply email or call back. Moving on...
We broke down close to there. Exit on the highway. The wheel came off all the studs sheared off and the shackles ground down on the highway. We brought everything to the counter. Matt and Brian were insanely nice and helpful. If it wasn’t for them, we would never got back on the road again. They’re amazing. Five stars is probably not enough. Their service from everyone there was great. They’re just awesome It’s rare to find such excellent service and nice people. Thank you so much.
