I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to help others who might be frustrated with the hard-nosed sales approach, uncaring attitude, and uncertainty that often comes with buying from many RV dealers. Bowling RV is a true gem among dealerships. They are 300 miles (5 hours) from me, but the drive was completely worth it. Purchasing a used RV, typically without a factory warranty, is challenging. Relying solely on oneself to vet the unit isn't the best approach. Finding a dealership that can be trusted to offer vetted units is hard. A trusted dealership means employing individuals who won’t mislead a buyer and who have empathy, understanding the buyer's perspective.-- and thats what i found at Bowling. From the start, Mike, the sales manager, made it clear that Bowling RV was on my side, assuring me that the many unknowns in purchasing an RV would be handled properly. The dealership also has a policy that empathizes with the buyer’s position, rather than simply unloading inventory. It’s a decision that a dealership can choose to make—or not—depending on their commitment to the buyer’s concerns. The policy at Bowling RV includes a detailed inspection of the used unit and the replacement of anything that isn't working or up to spec. They truly went above and beyond what could have been expected. Mike (Sales Manager and the "face" of the dealership), Victor (Service Manager), Stephanie (Admin), Robbie (Tech), Chad (Business Manager), and Randy (Owner)—they are all made up of the right stuff. They take genuine pride in the quality of the units they offer, and it’s clear they stand behind them. When buying a used or new RV, we are at the mercy of the dealership’s competency and care in ensuring the unit and its components are working correctly. Who, as a buyer, would know how to check that the hub bearings, spindles, frame, sidewalls, doors, locks, propane regulator, plumbing, microwave, fridge, air conditioner, furnace, water heater, or electronics are all functioning properly? A dealer would be in a position to check these things. I found that Bowling RV's service team spent hours inspecting the unit after purchase to ensure everything was working. They made an appointment for me to go through the unit, which was pulled into an indoor service bay and powered up for my delivery inspection. Robbie, the technician who serviced the unit, then gave me a 45-minute walk-through, including an explanation of the items that were fixed. He answered all my questions regarding potential leaks and the functions of various components of the toy hauler. Being able to speak with the person who actually serviced the unit was a huge benefit. From the start, Mike and the entire staff at Bowling RV showed genuine pride in their caring, professional, and empathetic approach. It wasn’t a huge sale, but I was still treated with respect and thoughtfulness when asking questions about the toy hauler I purchased. Their business approach is empathetic, and I believe they truly understand and don't exploit the disadvantage that any RV buyer faces. In the end, it really comes down to the people who make the difference. Whether we’re "taken for a ride" or feel secure knowing that both the dealer and the buyer are on the same page, looking out for each other in an uncertain world, the right people make all the difference. My husband and I were looking for a camper suitable for traveling with 2 young children. Randy showed us a few with the perfect setups we were looking for. We were in and out of there within a half hour probably. Best experience we’ve encountered at any dealership we’ve dealt with. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend purchasing your rv/travel trailer from them!

When my Husband suggested driving from Oklahoma to Iowa to make a Travel Trailer purchase I couldn't understand why we would want to do that... However, based off previous local purchases that were a disaster, in addition to shopping locally without the experience, knowledge or guidance we were looking for, it only took a few interactions from Bowling RV to clearly understand why we needed to give our business to a QUALITY company. We have never been so satisfied with a major purchase as we were with the start to finish experience we had with Bowling RV. - After leaving their lot, we felt like the team had become our friends and that's not something most can say about any type of dealership. If you're out of state, don't hesitate on making the drive, after all, you're buying a "TRAVEL" Trailer so, just do it! You'll be SO glad you did. ~ Thank you, Team Bowling!

Bowling Motors and RV is a wonderful place to buy your RV! We just bought our second Motorhome from BM&R and so glad we did! From the time we contacted Randy it was an extremely easy process! Chad in finance did an excellent job in finding the resources that we needed!! The day of trade we were met at the front and given the “Red Carpet” treatment! Robbie did a superb job in walking us through the attributes of our new rig! We asked a lot of questions and he did a great job in answering them! Chad did a great job in the actual process of the all the paperwork and explained things very well! We are so thankful there are still family owned RV dealerships to do business with! I wanted to share how helpful the Service Department has been for my wife and I. We purchased a 2023 Forester, our first Rv. A number of things were wrong with it coming from the factory. Bowling’s service department went above and beyond to not just fix them at no cost to me, but help me communicate with Forest River my frustration!! I cannot say thankful enough and Bowling will always have my business!
