Oh, there are just NOT ENOUGH GOOD WORDS that I can use to express the experience I have had recently at Blue Compass RV in POST FALLS, ID. The welcome, service, expertise and overall feeling of PERSONAL CARE were all OVER-THE-TOP! From the Service Manager MIKE PRATT, right down to the advisors and techs, I have been SO BLESSED! MIKE was so knowledgeable about every problem I was having with my motorhome. On top of that, he himself worked alongside the technician whenever assistance or guidance was needed! JASON and RYAN, the technicians were amazing, making me feel that my "home" was in the best hands! I want to also mention that every time I, and my 2 canine girls, walked in the door, I was so warmly addressed by all the advisors and parts crew (Lance, Robert, Vince, Brett, Justin, Craig, Dylan, Garlin, Darren, Lea) even though they had nothing to do with my needs! I must not fail to mention, Jen, who was just as attentive and caring on days that Mike was off. My only hope is that this review conveys the credit POST FALLS BC deserves! I recently purchased a used RV that I was very excited about, but unfortunately the experience since delivery has been disappointing. I expected some normal wear in a used unit, but the number and severity of issues that showed up immediately has been overwhelming. Right away, I discovered several water-related problems: the kitchen sink leaked so badly it caused flooding, the toilet was leaking, the water pump does not work, and even the water inlet leaks. These needed repairs were not disclosed, and although I purchased a warranty, several repairs fall below the deductible—meaning these costs fall entirely on me. I was also told the RV would be cleaned before delivery, and I paid for an additional service specifically to address mold. Despite this, the unit arrived dusty, with dead bugs, mouse droppings, and visible mold in the bedroom. Because the water system is not functional, I am unable to properly clean or use the RV as intended. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I was surprised to hear that “they don’t make mistakes” and that all repairs would be at my cost. I simply expected a more transparent and supportive experience, especially given the additional services I paid for. I’m sharing this review not to complain, but to describe my experience accurately and hopefully help future buyers know what to expect.
Jacob (newer younger sales person) was amazing. He was very polite and professional. No pressure and when I wasn’t sure he did mention that they could get any blue compass rv delivered to Post Falls. That opened up so much more inventory. Then a day later we pulled the trigger on a hard to find used toy hauler. Thank you. Edit: after receiving the coach we noticed that items were not fixed that were pointed out in the walk thru. And after further investigation the roof has some soft spots and will need to be replaced. I mentioned this to my sales person and I was informed that the manager would be in contact with me shortly. Still haven’t heard a thing from the manager. This group is just like any sales group, only worried about making money.
Working with Jennifer Willis, Alan Harvey and GM Thomas Horn, was an amazing experience, at the Post Falls Idaho Blue Compass. Cannot forget the backbone guys!! Derek Ahnquist and Hunter Anundson, they were outstanding and very professional and extremely helpful!! The Momentum is a 397THS, toy hauler we couldn’t be happier with the experience and the customer service from Jennifer and her team of professionals mentioned above, was hands down the best experience ever!! I would highly recommend Blue Compass RV to anyone. Their customer service was so great, I drove from Southern California all the way to the Spokane Washington/Post Falls area to purchase this amazing toy hauler. Made the drive over the Labor Day weekend, drove 2600 miles round trip took over 45 hours total, to experience the team’s awesome customer service, which was not disappointing at all. Thank you Jennifer and team!! You were awesome!! Can’t say thank you enough!!!
I bought my RV there. Only a few years old, i took it there for a specific service. They told me i had coverage for doing other repairs — i told them i did not. They did those services without my consent. And they admitted it in an email. They find out that i was right, i didnt have coverage for those extra services. But i got stuck with the bill, even though i didnt ask them to do it. When i came to pick it up, the service person asked why i had to have so much service done to my relatively new trailer. He said it was pretty new, should not have required that much work. I told him i agreed. He offered to have the manager call me about the situation. Manager never called. Pretty shady in my opinion.
