As you probably noticed, our name is a little different and so are we! Blue Dog RV was started by several families moving from all over the Northwest and we're now owned by Blue Compass RV. We came together to form a new and different RV dealership to serve the Northern Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, and Nevada area. We wanted to take what we learned at very good dealers combined with our shared vision of customer service for RV sales and service up to a level that people have never experienced. Had a great experience with Dale at Blue Compass! He was friendly, easy to work with, and made the whole process simple and stress-free. No pressure, just honest & had no trouble answering any questions we had. He helped us find what worked best for our family in every aspect. He went above and beyond making us and our children comfortable through the entire process. The vibes you feel when you first walk through the door is extremely welcoming, every staff member was very friendly. Highly recommend!
Purchased our first new RV in May 2022 under Blue Dog RV. The experience was decent very responsive. Seemed easy enough. I ended up purchasing the extended warranty. Big mistake. The extended warranty is part of the company. Trying to get any service done has been beyond a hassle. Unanswered emails, unable to reach anyone by telephone. Calls that go in circles trying to get help. A complete waste of money. I am guessing if you are paying out of pocket you might get a different response. I would not recommend this company for sales, service, parts or repairs. Was directed to another Blue Dog RV service in Sacramento as the warranty service rep couldn't contact anyone in Redding. The person was rude and couldn't answer simple questions of how the process worked. I live two hours from the Sacramento location. I was told to drop it off and that there is 65 other units waiting to be diagnosed before me. So unknown wait time for warranty work to be approved then parts must be ordered. Back into the air and wait an unknown amount of time to get repairs done. This process seems very inefficient and they are holding me hostage. The repairs, recalls, have to be done by a dealer. In the end it is cheaper to fix my RV myself and eat the five thousand dollar extended warranty as they make it almost impossible to use. Do your research. It's the old bait and switch. I will never do business with this company and recommend you don't either.
Blue Compass RV & to whom it may concern. Blue Compass, you have 4 extraordinary employees!!! In no particular order, Jason, Brian, Chris, Pedro, I can't say enough good stuff about you 4. This past weekend, I purchased my very first R.V. the process started four days before and where I started talking to Jason, who is a salesperson. I had many questions following my first interaction with Jason and I mean many questions. Anyways, every single time I called or texted, he immediately within 5 minutes answered back & had an answer to my question. This interaction was followed up with the add-on of Brian (sales person), because Jason had a day off & he put Brian up to the task of answering my questions & no loss of communication. Amazing team work between those 2 guys. Then comes Chris, he is the finance guy & another straightforward individual. He had no problem showing me the buy rate, which I appreciated it greatly. Last but not least, Pedro... He's one of the service technicians that goes over the whole RV before it's taken off the lot by the customer. & wow, this guy knows his stuff when it comes to the mechanicals of RV's. Sorry for the long review, but these guys deserve to be recognized. I would have no hesitation at all in buying an RV from Blue Compass in Anderson, California, and these 4 particular employees. again , thanks to Chris, jason Brian and Pedro.
Morgan and the Blue compass team were great to work with. No pressure, friendly and they were knowledgeable about what they were selling. From the moment we walked in there was a good vibe. They made it easy and uncomplicated to purchase our RV . It was a good day !! Thanks Guys
What an amazing experience!! Everyone here is kind, transparent, and extremely helpful!! They were patient with my husband and I as we weren’t exactly ready to pull the trigger the first time, found one and reserved it the second time, then changed our minds again and upgraded to a larger unit that suit our needs! We worked with Morgan the entire time who became like family as he helped us navigate buying our first trailer. Tom is also a key asset there as he’s able to fill in any gaps and meet our requirements as needed. Lastly, we worked with Chris in financing and even though our time with each other was short, it was sweet, informative, and painless as he was able to get us the BEST DEALS possible!!! I highly recommend Blue Compass when it comes to purchasing a new trailer compared to the guys next door. Here, they really have your best interest in mind and respect their customers. 10/10 experience!!!
